Tuesdays with Morrie Final Project

In Tuesdays with Morrie, Mitch is impressed with Morrie’s life and wants to record Morrie’s stories so he can share them with others. He believed the world could learn a great deal from Morrie’s inspiring words.

For this project, choose a person that you want to share with the world. It could be someone you know in your personal life or a historical figure that inspired people. Research will be required for either option.

You will be creating a Prezi or PowerPoint that describes the person. You will be presenting in groups of 5 classmates. The presentation should be at least 5 minutes long. Your presentation must contain a visual element to it as well.

Requirements (Your presentation must include the following :)

Biographical Informationo Early Lifeo Life-Changing Eventso Teen Lifeo Adult Life

Why the Person is Inspiring to Youo What problems did the h/she face?o Where did this person find inspiration?o What action(s) did h/she take?

What lessons can be learned from his or her life?o Why do you connect with him/ her?o Who else has s/he inspired?o Why and how is the world a different place because of this person?

In your presentation, be sure to include:

-A timeline with reference to at least 10 events.

-10 images, with at least 2 images representing each of the following:

-The world as your inspirational figure experienced it (including the problem)

-The change he or she made in the world

-People affected (and/ or inspired)

-Color and appropriate use of space. The design of your presentation should represent some aspect of the person’s life.

-All important and engaging information necessary for a deep understanding of the person’s life.
