Learning Target: Students will discover the meaning behind the Pythagorean Theorem through a PowerPoint as a whole group and then with a hands on activity in groups.

Pythagoras was born on the Aegean island of Samos. He is best known for the Pythagorean Theorem, which relates the side lengths of a right triangle.
