When you are working on the intro…

Think about: where was the interview?

What time of day? Weather? Furniture? What does the interviewee look like? Sound like? Just off work? In casual or work clothes? Expression? Laugh? Hair? Gestures? Body language?

All day writing session in class, and homework as well. Body of narrative due by Thursday BOP.

Homework: chose an ending quote and a closing comment that ties back to intro in some creative and meaningful way.

Week 10, 1-2 ~ 1-6END OF QUARTER IS TODAY: we will complete the Creative Rite activity to give us all a boost of creative juice to carry over into the writing of the Interview Narrative.

Tuesday: Your transcript is due. Make sure you have completed your interview by Sunday at the latest, so you have time to transcribe it Monday.

Tuesday: we will ANALYZE an interview today, as we get started on creating a narrative from your transcript.

Tuesday & Wednesday : You will be working on transforming your transcript into an interview narrative. You will have homework on both Tuesday & Wednesday.

Thursday & Friday: We will have a preview and activities that correspond to the 2nd Quarter’s novel assignment.
