MEWAG tube and profile bending machines as
multi-stage and left-/ right-hand bending ver-
sionsAutomatic tube bending with up to 13 driven axes. The
following axes can be driven depending on the respec-tive equipment: forward movement, rotation, bend,
vertical/ horizontal head adjustment and turning. Slide
rail moving by friction, mandrel retraction, slide-rail and bending-arm tightening etc. These machines permit
bending with various tools and bending radii with one bending procedure/ tension (multiple functionality).
Equipped with the corresponding tools, these machines
can produce infinitely large radii via the free-form bend-ing process as well as tiny radii in the range of 1 x D.
These machines are constructed as fully electric models or as versions with “additional hydraulic functions”.
Most of them have a unique booster concept. Left- and
right-hand bending machines: automaticswitching of bending direction from left to right. This
process can be freely programmed within a bending cycle. The control system automatically calculates the
necessary operational distances.

“1 axis DIGITAL”These single bending axis driven, semi-automatic cold
bending machines and the corresponding tools enable
bending of all types of tube and profile materials up to an angle of 185° with and without a mandrel.
The linear feeding and rotation of the tube is performed manually. When the programmed position is attained
the tube is automatically fixed in order for the fully
automated bending process to be started. The positionsare shown on a digital display in red luminous writing.

These single bending axis driven, semi-automatic cold bending machines and the corresponding tools enable
bending of all types of tube and profile materials up to an angle of 185° with and without mandrel. The linear
feeding and rotation of the tube is performed manually.
Positioning is done via limit stops.
