What the students say:“I am a first year student in TU Dublin. TU Dublin helped find the perfect accommodation for me. I couldn’t be happier in my accommodation in the branded facilities. The facilities are great. The staff are amazing and very friendly people!”

Dorcas, First Year Student. 2019

“TUDublinStudentPad.ie cuts out all the unsuitable places and just shows you student friendly affordable options. Often the people you are speaking to are flexible and everyone is really sympathetic to how difficult it is to rent right now. I found a place to stay in two days and I am delighted.”

Jane, student from BIMM

“I am staying in a host family in Dublin 6, for Semester 1 and the atmosphere is great and comfortable every day…. I recommend to everybody who comes to Dublin to find a host family (similar to mine) because you have a big support, especially in the bad moment, and you understand the real culture, the real life of a place that hosts you for so many months!”

Francesca, International student, Italy

What the Hosts say:“I enjoy having a student in the house. The student staying with me studies in Bolton Street and he lives with me on a 7 day basis. I trust him and treat him as one of the family. He brings the dog for a walk most evenings which is great for me.”

Margaret a host family provider, Dublin 7

“The whole experience has been so positive. Our children have learned so much about other cultures and the students are like our own family”.

Siobhan a host family provider, Dublin 6

What TU Dublin says:“Host family options are great for the first year while students manage the transition into college. In Semester 2 they will have time to think about what kind of accommodation they would like in Year 2.”

Dr. Brian Gormley, Head of Campus Life
