1. Have Clarity

Be clear about what skills or services you need in your business, when you need them, for how long and the size of your budget to hire contractors.

2. Be Specific

Ensure you specify what is required from your contractor and achievable. If you do this, you increase the likelihood of your contractors completing jobs to an acceptable standard and your preferred quality.

3. Hold Interviews

Always interview before you hire! This is a basic and such as essential rule you should stick to. Be consistent in applying this rule, even when you are hiring a new contractor at rather short notice.
