Title: My Lunch and Dinner Yesterday

I had a yummy lunch yesterday. I ate a lot of rice, a little steak, a few carrots, and a little

broccoli. I ate a lot of cherries. I drank a little orange juice. I ate a few potato chips.

I had a perfect dinner yesterday too. I ate a lot of rice, a lot of peas, a few potatoes, a few

tomatoes, a little pork, a few apples, a few bananas and a few peaches. I drank a little soup too.

Title: Our Plan for the Three-day Trip

My pen friend, Alex Tranter is coming Hong Kong for three days. I have made a plan for

him.

On the first day, we will go to Sai Kung. We will eat seafood, go hiking and do water sports.

On the second day, we will go to Lantau Island. We will visit Disneyland, visit the big

Buddha and ride on the cable car.

On the third day, we will go to Hong Kong Island. We will visit Ocean Park, visit Golden

Bauhinia Square and look at the view of Hong Kong.

I hope my friend will enjoy his trip in Hong Kong.

Title: My Favourite Tourist Spot in Hong Kong

My favourite Tourist Spot in Hong Kong is Tsim Sha Tsui. I usually go there on summer

holiday. I can go there by bus or MTR. I go there with my father, mother, brother and aunt. I can

take photos on the Avenue of Stars, watch Symphony of Lights and visit the Science Museum

there.

I like going to Tsim Sha Tsui because I can go shopping there. I feel happy and excited.

Title: When my Dad was in Primary 4

I talked to my Dad about his school life when he was in Primary 4. There were not any

computers in my Dad’s school. There were not any lifts in his school. So he climbed the stairs by

himself. Everybody in my Dad’s class played hide-and-seek and Chinese chess during recess.

Nobody played electronic games in those days.

My dad could go to school by himself. He did not have a tutor so he studied for exams by

himself. He did not have a tutor so he studied for exams by himself. My dad also studied English

in his school so he can speak English now. I think that he is smart.

Title: A Fight

Susan and Lily were good friends. One day, they had a fight. They and their classmates were

in the Art room. They were drawing pictures. Susan sat next to Lily. Susan felt bored. She looked

at Lily’s picture. She was laughing at Lily. She said, ‘Your picture is ugly!’ And then the boy

near Susan was laughing at Lily’s picture too. Lily was very angry. Lily shouted at Susan, ‘I hate

you! ’ Susan was shocked.

When their Art teacher Miss Au came in the Art room, Lily said to Miss Au, ‘Susan laughed

at me. ’ Next, Susan said to Miss Au, 'Miss Au, Lily shouted at me when you were not here. ’

Miss Au said, ‘You are friends. You should be nice to each other. Both you are rude, so I will tell

your parents and the director of discipline.’ She said strictly. Miss Au punished them too.

Susan said, ‘I am so sorry, Lily.’ Lily said, ‘Never mind. I am very sorry too.’ ‘Don’t worry

about it.’ They got on with each other. They became good friends again.

Title: Don’t Oop’s Robot

Or Oops was a scientist. Inventing things was his hobby. He was careless.

One day, he made a robot. First he cut some pieces of wood. Then he folded some pieces of

metal. After that, he made its eyes, noses, ears head, mouth…

The robot’s eyes were made of glass. Its head was made of plastic. Its ears were made of

metal. Its body was made of wood.

‘Finished!’ Dr. Oops said happily. He took the robot to the world Inventions Research

Organization and said, ‘Hey guys, where’s your boss? I have a new invention-Super Robot!’ Dr.

Oops found the boss-Dr. Super. Dr. Oops said, ‘Nice to meet you! Open your eyes and let me

introduce my Super Robot! The best robot in the world! Look! It can walk!’ He turned on the

power and used the remote control to robot but it didn’t walk. Oops! Dr. Oops asked. ‘Why can’t

it walk?’ It was because the robot had three arms but only one leg! Dr. Super laughed at him.

Dr. Oops was disappointed and ashamed. He looked down upon and hated himself. He

stepped on and kicked the robot angrily until it was broken. He said. ‘I won’t invent thing again!’

He gave up to be a scientist then.

Title: Alan Made a Mistake

One day, Alan saw a woman opening his neighour’s window. She was a woman who was

in a black T-shirt. Then Alan said, ‘Oh no! The thief is climbing to my neighbor, Mrs. Wong’s

house to steal things!’ He was very panic. Then he called the police. The commander told the

police about the address. They immediately went there.

The policemen came fast. The fireman used the ladder truck to help them to catch the

thief. The thief wanted to get rid of the policemen but she couldn’t. They asked her some

questions.

After an hour, the policemen and that woman came back to the building. The woman took

off her sunglasses.’ ‘Oh! That woman is Mrs. Wong!’ Then Alan went out the house and he

spoke to the policeman, she is my neighbor…’ Alan didn’t finish his speak but Mrs. Wong said

‘Yes, I just forgot to bring my key!’ Then the policemen used some instruments to help her open

the door.

After the policemen went away, Mrs. Wong thanked Alan. She said, ‘I thank you a lot

because if it is a real thief, you can help me!’

In the end, they both went back home happily.

Title: Naughty Tom and Kitty

Tom and Kitty were playing with their dog Bobby. There were a lot of toys on the floor.

Mum came in and fell over a toy car. She picked it up and asked, ‘Whose toy car is this?’ She

was badly hurt. Tom said, ‘It is mine.’ Mum said, ‘Why were the toys on the floor? Why didn’t

you put the toys in the toy box? You should tidy up the room!’

Then Tom thought, ‘I didn’t want to tidy up the toys. I want to play computer games!’ Kitty

thought, ‘I didn’t want to tidy up the toys. I want to talk on the phone happily.’

Then they shouted at each other and Tom said, ‘You do it! ’ Kitty said, ‘No, you should do

it!’ They quarreled with each other. Mum said, ‘Don’t shout! Tom and Kitty, you two should

keep the room clean and put the toys in the toy box!’

Title: The Beginning of a Story

Once upon a time, there was an old woman who had a son and two daughters.

The old woman was as slow as a turtle. She was slow when she did anything .People

didn’t like her because she was too slow.

The first daughter was as gentle as a lamb. Her name was Sandy. She always helped

people who were in trouble and she always did charity work.

The second son was as brave as a lion. His name was Mathew. He helped people when

they had accidents. People in the village liked him very much. He was caring too. He took care

of people who were sick.

The third daughter was as proud as a peacock. Her name was Jenny. She always thought

she was the best. She thought she was the queen. People in the village didn’t liked her.

Everybody didn’t talk with her.

Title: My Dream

In my dream, I was in Cyber City. Cyber City was a modern city. Everyone had an

intelligent robot. Cyber City was very strange too. There were some aliens, robots, space insects

and also some living creatures that I didn’t know.

Everybody was friendly and warm but strange. They liked to eat insect pizza and sweets.

One of them asked me fervently, ‘Would you like to have an insect pizza?’ Then I refused him.

‘How strange!’ I thought Cyber City was very crowded. I want to travel to the galaxy by

spaceship. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough money. ‘I will travel to the galaxy if I have

enough money.’ I thought.

After that, I went cycling. I was cycling while I was enjoying the view. When I arrived

the Cyber Primary School, I saw a robot called Ethan. He was attacked by aliens. He was hurt!

He asked me weakly, ’Little boy can…can you help…me?’ ’Sure!’ I said. ‘However,

how can I help you?’ I asked doubtfully. ‘First my name is…is Ethan. Second I was…was

attacked by aliens. Third you should hold me and go to the…the medical room which is

opposite the staff room. Please bring me to the …the medical room. Can you do…do that?’ He

asked. ‘Yes, I can.’ I replied him.

Finally, he was fine. I was happy because I saved the robot. He praised me, ‘You are a

helpful and good boy!’ Then I said thank you to Ethan politely. ‘Oh! I forget to ask, What is

your name?’

‘My name is Eric.’ Also he sent a present to me. That was my favourite toy robot!

‘Ring…ring…ring…’My clock woke me up. I was shocked that there was a toy robot

near my bed! I told my mum about this interesting dream. However, she didn’t trust that.

Name: Lai Hoi Yiu, Yoyo

Class: 6C (11)

Title: Helping People

Last week, I helped a lot of people at home, at school and on public transports. I liked

helping people because I thought helping the others was a meaningful thing. I feel very happy

after helping others.

My mum was sick last week so I helped her to do the housework at home. I swept the floor,

washed dishes and watered the plants. I cleaned the bedroom and the windows too.

I also helped my mum to cook the lunch because she was sick. I took care of her. I was

really joyful after I helped my mum. I will help my mother after that.

At school, I helped the teachers and my classmates.I helped my class teacher to clean the

blackboard and swept the floor. I tidied up the bookshelf too. When my classmate forgot to bring

the book or stationery. I shared my book and pens with him. I also helped them with the

homework.

On the public transport, when I saw an elderly standing. I gave my seat to her. When

someone was carrying some heavy things, I helped him too.

I was so glad to help the others. Helping people was an enjoyable experience. I will keep on

helping people when someone needs my help.

Title: A Book Report

Title：Mallory’s guide to Boys, brothers, dads and Dogs

Author：Laurie Friedman

I chose this book because I really enjoyed this book and I also loved the stories which

was written by Laurie Friedman.

The book is about a cute girl called Mallory. She loves a boy when she is in the fourth

grade. Mallory loves a fifth grade boy who called JT. JT is so handsome and his exam results

almost gets all.

However, Mallory is not JT loves her or not. She is really confused. She thinks about it

all day. Even her Maths exam was failed, she doesn't care about it. Her best friend, Mary Ann

tells her how to make JT loves her. Finally, Mallory gets lost! Do you know why? I'm sure you

want to read this book again and again!

I thought the plot was interesting and touching.

I was also moved because her parents loved here so much. I was disappointed because

Mallory and JT can't be girlfriend and boyfriend.

I have learnt I should listen to my parents' advice. I shouldn't think about love all day.

My favourite character was Mary Ann. She always supported Mallory and took care of

her. They're true friends! Besides, I thought Mary Ann was caring and friendly too.

If I were Mallory, I would stop thinking of JT, because it's not so important for me. I

don't want my Maths exam to be failed like her!
