E-TENDER NOTICE

Separate online tenders are invited from eligible A,B or C class Contractors

registered in the Forest Department in pursuance of G.O.(MS) No.26/2017lF&WLD dated

70.05.2017 for undertaking works mentioned in the schedule below. The tender is bound

to comply with the terms and conditions in force and special terms and conditions in

connection with the stacking, besides the conditions that will be framed by the

government in future in connection with this tender. Tender documents and schedules

are available in the website www,etenders.kerala.gov.in. The Earnest Money Deposit and

tender cost for the tender should be submitted through the internet online banking of

SBT or through NEFT for other banks. For submission of tenders visit the website

wwvu. eten d e rs. kera I a.gov. i n. The contractor shou ld have GST registration.

All bid/tender documents are to be submitted online only and in the designated

online cover{s)/envelope(s) on the www.etenders.kerala.gov.in website and tenders

;.submitted manually/through post will not be entertained. Late tenders also will not be

accepted.

Online tenders/bids are to be accompanied with a preliminary agreement

executed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth 2OO/-. Tenders/bids received online without the

scanned copies of relevant documents, preliminary agreement etc. will not be

considered and shall be summarily rejected. The hard copy of attested copy of

Registration Certificate, Bid document, EMD exemption Certificate (if any) and

,preliminary agreement in original would be submitted offline subsequently in a sealed

cover superscribing the name of work and tender number to the office of the Divisional

Forest Officer, Timber Sales Division, Punalur through speed post/ Registered post

before opening of the tender, failing which such tenders will be rejected. Any further

clarification on this tender can be obtained from Nlc, the e-tender helpdesk number

avairabre in the www.etenders.keara€ov. in website and from the office of the Divisional

Forest officer, Timber Sales Division, Punalur during office hours' The details regarding

e-payment (bidder's bank account number where he/she is having core banking facility

and e-mail lD) should be submitted along with the tender. Tenders without these

details will not be accepted. Technical bid and financial bid shall be submitted in their

respective designated online covers'

The Forest Department will not be responsible for any inconvenience or loss to

the bidder while uploading/ downloading the bid'

The successful tenderer should submit a solvency from the revenue authorities or

a bank guarantee issued by a nationalized bank for t0% of the tender amount' The

successful tenderer should also execute an agreement in the prescribed format in a

stamp paper worth Rs. 200/- within 10 days from the date of intimation of acceptance

of the tender after furnishing security deposit equal lo 1o% of the tender amount or

Special Tender Condition for stackins gf timber in Timber Depots

l. Stacking has to be done in the area allotted for the purpose as per the directions of the DepotOfficer/Depot staff.

2. The timber has to be stacked on Main Pass basis in the order first come first.

3. The timber has to be stacked species wise, girth class wise and quality class wise as per thedirection of the Depot Officer/Depot staff.

4. Rose wood, Teak, Jungle wood, Billet and firewood are to be stacked in separate area of the depotyard as per the direction of the Depot Officer /Depot staff.

5. The soft wood species and junglewood species have to be stacked first to avoid deterioration.

6. Each class of timber has to be stacked in such a way that within each quality class and girth classthe higher girth class and lower girth class are stacked separately, short log and lengthy log haveto be stacked separately and good timber and defective timber has to be stacked separately as perthe directions of the Depot Officer/Divisional Forest Officer.

7. Each log of the timber shall be inspected by the Depot officer before stacking to ensurecorrectness of the classification conditions mentioned in condition (6) above.

8. The lot size will be decided by the Depot Officer as per Depot stock and existing market trend.Each log of export quality Rosewood and Teak form one lot. Rose wood and Teak other thanexpotl quality, have to be stacked as lots up to 4 M3 volume and in the case ofjungle wood has tobe stacked as lots up to 8 m3 volume. Billets and firewood have to be stacked separate as per thedirections of the Depot Officer.

9. Stacking should be done in such a way that the defects of the timber should be visible to thebuyers.
