HOPPER VOLUME 4,000 - 8,000M3

The IHC Beagle® is a product line of standardised TSHDs that range in hopper volume from 4,000 to 8,000m³. The vessels are designed for a wide range of dredging activities. They also benefit from the developments applied throughout IHC’s extensive track record in building dredging vessels. The IHC Beagle® has been created around the following criteria:

• STANDARDISATION through standardisation, these vessels are cost-effective and can be

made available within shorter delivery times than custom-built TSHDs

• VERSATILE the IHC Beagle® can execute a large variety of dredging works and

is standardly equipped with two dredge pumps, making each vessel capable of discharging soil at large distances and two suction tubes giving operational flexibility as well as redundancy

• STATE-OF-THE-ART the IHC Beagle® incorporates the latest IHC innovations such as a

Plumigator® overflow, optimised hull shape with bulbous bow and gondola aft ship, ECO Pump, and trail speed controller, as well as an ergonomically-shaped and instrumented Intuitive Hopper Control Chair (IHCC)

The IHC Easydredge® is a product line of standardised trailing suction hopper dredgers (TSHDs) ranging in hopper volume from 500 to 4,000m3. The design of these vessels benefits from IHC’s vast experience in the dredging market and is established around the following criteria: • COST-EFFECTIVE optimised around both the cost price and delivery time, for some

models there is a stock program giving short lead times. For other models the engineering has already been done shortening the lead time tremendously

• ADAPTABILITY designed as a basic platform with sufficient space for various options

(pre-designed and tailor-made), the ship can grow with your business with the possibility to make additions at a later stage, which ensures it remains the right tool, for the right job, at any time

• MULTIPURPOSE OPERATION standard equipped for maintenance dredging, with options available to

make it suitable for all kinds of dredging operations, from grab dredging jobs to capital dredging work with large dredging depths and long discharge distances

• STRAIGHTFORWARD AND EASY TO OPERATE with only basic training required and maintenance-friendly design, this is

a highly efficient tool from the start

IHC BEAGLE®

TRAININGWherever customers operate, we are there to

support in improving the performance of the TSHD. To further enhance the skills and knowledge needed

to operate and maintain the vessel, we provide project-specific, operational and maintenance

training. The TSHD on-the-job training programme strengthens and consolidates the knowledge and

skills of attendees. Operators can put what they learn into practice on a daily basis and improve the

overall efficiency of their dredger.

The TSHD simulator training course gives operators a unique opportunity to enhance their skills using state-of-the-art dredge simulators and learn how to operate the equipment in a safe environment. For engineers, the IHC Training Institute offers an exclusive TSHD maintenance training programme

that covers all aspects of dredging equipment, such as electric installations and hydraulic systems.

SERVICESOnce the dredger has been delivered to the

customer, IHC provides high-quality services and global support. We help customers to operate their

TSHD in an efficient manner in order to achieve optimum levels of productivity. The services we

can offer allow operators to increase the uptime and improve the performance of the vessels

and equipment while reducing the total costs of ownership. We help increase uptime by providing

maintenance support, repairs, and all necessary spare parts and logistics.

Our experienced service engineers and dredge masters are available to provide advice to customers

and to instruct operators, as well as for analysing the operation and performance of the dredging

equipment on site.
