What is TSA?

Is this a club?o The TSA organization is a chapter, and not a club. All students

can attend general events and general field trips, but competition members need to abide by chapter deadlines and competition minimums. There are also fees associated with participating in TSA ranging from $35-$135 (Vex add on is an additional $30).

Can I be a TSA member and participate in other clubs?o Maybe. TSA holds general meetings monthly on a

Thursdays, and planning, project, and preparation meetings on the other Thursdays in the month. All members are expected to make every general meeting. If you are on a project team for TSA competitions, you are also expected to show up and adhere to due dates.

Can I join both TSA and VEX Robotics?o YES. We want our members to be challenged, and Vex Robotics is

an excellent way to fulfill that goal.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW… ALL interested students will need to fill out an application and submit payment for dues by 9/8/16.

There is no limit to the number of paid students that can attend Tech Day or the end of the year banquet, but there is a limit to the number of students who can attend other competitions.

Due to limited hotel space, only 32 TSA members may attend the Fall Leadership Conference in Jekyll Island, the State conference in Athens, GA March, 2017, or the National Conference in Orlando, FL June 21 - 25, 2017

All members wishing to attend State/Nationals need to have 2-3 projects prepared with rough drafts by (Jan. 31). Please note that the projects need to be approved an authorized by a TSA advisor before you begin working on it.

**In the event that financial assistance is needed for competitions, fundraisers will be available.
