True North

Each True North DGA Sample is carefully prepared from a bulk standard. A Certificate of Concentration isdelivered with each sample as a guarantee of accuracy and traceability. The Certificate of Concentrationcontains the actual concentrations of the different gases found in the sample. Once the sample is analyzed,the reported results should correspond to the values found on the Certificate of Concentration. If theresults are outside the laboratory accepted standard deviation, procedures and calibrations are not beingfollowed and should be verified.

Calibration, verification andtrouble shooting of laboratory DGA(Dissolved Gas Analysis) systems.

PREPARATION METHOD

NIST traceable gas mixture dissolvedin degassed oil in accordance withprinciples outlined in ASTM MethodD3612-01, Annex A2 (2001) and IECpublication 60567, clause 6.2(1992).

DESCRIPTION

30cc glass, gas tight syringe containing9 gases dissolved in dielectric fluid.

Syringe has a 3 way valve with LuerLock fitting. A unique identificationnumber for each True North samplecan be found on the Certificate ofConcentration.

DISSOLVED GAS QUANTITIES

Stated in each sample Certificateof Concentration.Typical values: 100 ppm for faultgases (H2, CH4, CO, CO2, C2H4, C2H6,C2H2). Balance gas industrial air.

New Voltesso 35 dielectricinsulating fluid.
