GENERAL RULES AND ETIQUETTE:

๏Be responsible for your belongings

and don’t throw trash on the trail.

๏Be nice to your fellow racers, always

announce when you are passing and

make sure they have a safe place to

pull over, especially in the technical parts.

๏No short-cutting the course

๏ Remember the desert is a fragile

place, try to only pass when there is

room, try to wait for a wide spot in

the trail and try not to create

unnecessary widening of our single track.

๏If you need to stop and take a break

make sure you are well off course in a

hardened area.

No-Passing Zones: There is a 1 mile no passing zone through the Bear-Claw Poppy habitat. Racers tires must remain on the trail tread at all times. There are several pull outs where a front racer may pull over to allow a racer by. These section will be strictly enforce so that we can maintain a permit to race this sec-tion. Markers will indicate “NO PASS ZONE”

The points are located

1. The end of the Zen Trail before FZ1 ( mile 20.6 & )

2. The begining and end of the Barrel Rolls Lap ( if you need to ac-cess the feed zone afer you lap you should do so after exiting the check station.)

There will be large fin-ish arches to go under so you will know when you have hit a check point.

Rules and Stratagies for a great finish

Navigating the Course

GOOD LUCK - YOU GOT GRIT

Other FAQDrop Bags: You will be able to drop bags at 1 or both of the aid stations. Look for the bag drop area near the finish line before the race. These will be transported for you at the start of the race and returned to the venue just after the aid station closes. This is usually 3 pm for Feed 1 and 5 or 6 pm for Feed 2. We recommend only 100 Mile racers drop to Feed 2. Any bags left will be dropped at Red Rock Bicycle and can be picked up there beginning at 10:00 am Sunday morning. Bags not claimed will be disposed of
