MANDEVILLA CARE:

Mandevilla are hardy to zones 9-11. If grown in cooler climates plants should be protected from frost by being brought indoors, or treated as annuals. Growth habits of Mandevilla vary by cultivar. Plant in full sun. Plants can be pruned at any time of year to maintain shape. Mandevilla bloom from spring through fall. Feed plants with an all-purpose fertilizer according to the package instructions in order to promote healthy growth and blooms during the blooming period. Mandevilla should be planted in soil with good drainage and allowed to dry slightly between watering. 

TROPICAL HIBISCUS CARE:

Hibiscus are hardy to zones 10-11. If grown in cooler climates plants should be protected from frost by being brought indoors, or treated as annuals. Plant height varies by variety but can reach 6 feet or more. Plant in full sun to part shade. Typically, Hibiscus are pruned and shaped in the fall but plants can be trimmed at any time to maintain shape. It can take up to 6 weeks for plants to rebloom after being cut back. Hibiscus bloom from spring through fall. Hibiscus are heavy feeders and need an all-purpose fertilizer applied according to the package instructions in order to promote healthy growth and blooms during the blooming period. Hibiscus should be planted in soil with good drainage and allowed to dry slightly between watering. DESERT ROSE CARE:

Desert Rose are hardy to zones 9-11. If grown in cooler climates plants should be protected from frost by being brought indoors, or treated as houseplants. Plant in full sun to part shade. Desert Rose bloom repeatedly from February to November. Feed plants with an all-purpose fertilizer at 1/2 strength in order to promote healthy growth and blooms during the blooming period. Desert Rose should be planted in soil with good drainage and kept evenly moist. When growing Desert Rose as a houseplant use a cactus soil mix for best results. Keep plants on the dry side during the winter months and do not fertilize until new growth begins in spring.
