Dear Readers, The monsoon arrived bit earlier than expected, bringing much needed respite to the City from the sultry heat. The financial loss was calculated over a thousand crores? The whole nation grieved over the calamity and the employees of all Tata Group Companies contributed one day’s salary, like in every such natural calamity in the past, to the succour of the Uttarkand government which had a herculean task ahead for rehabilitation and reconstruction.
