TRIPOD MUG WITH TEXTURE1. Measure rectangle for template 5” x 13”
2. Cut template from construction paper
3. Wedge more clay than you need
4. Flatten edge/ use slab roller as directed
5. Lightly trim around template
6. Embed texture but avoid top 1” rim of mug
7. Rib slab to prevent cracks later

9. Slip & Score edges
10. Turn vertical & overlap/ tack seam
11. Blend seam on inside
12. Turn upside down and Score edges
13. Squeeze bottom forming equilateral triangle
14. Pinching in to form 3 legs
TRIPOD MUG WITH TEXTURE15. Create ‘button’ shape to plug center of bottom/ stamp if desired
16. Support bottom & blend inside
17. Fill inside corners with beads of clay
18. No air pockets!
19. Inside should be clean
