Trip To The Cemetery

Introduction

• The section of the cemetery we were in held the older graves.

• The taller graves were the were the newer ones.

• The graveyard was found in 1845.

• Most older graves were there for more than100 years.

Baby or Child Graves

• The smaller graves are the graves of the babies and young children(1 day - 6 years).

• The graves are about half the size of the adult ones.

Wars

• People died from the wars(mostly soldiers).

• 1935 Royal Navy War

• 1941 World War 2

Thieves

• Thieves were hanged and put in jail for the rest of their lives(until they died).

• Police got killed because of the thieves.

Drowned

• Most of the bodies were left at sea but they still built a grave in the cemetery.

• Hugh Littletan- accidentally drowned in January 22nd, 1935

Plane Crash

• Plane crash 1969 (Cathy Pacific) Mount Butler

• A lady died in the plane crash in Mount Bultler.

Died From Fever• Starting from June 30th to September, 96 people died

of fever.
