    Youth Group

    Today is Promotion Sunday!We are very excited to welcome our incoming 6thgraders into our youth group!

    August 19th: Bananarama for 6th, 7th

    & 8th graders!!5-6:30 in the CommonsFor 6th,7th & 8th graders only

    We have an assortment of games planned for this evening - frombanana surgery to a banana launch, from banana races to bananasplits...it'll be bananas! Please have your student bring a bunch ofbananas.

    August 26th: Sunday Night Youth Program Begins!We will be kicking off our Sunday night youth program. We will have a time forworship, games and discussion questions.

    It's promotion Sunday! All children move to their new classes! The teachers areexcited to get to know the kids and begin a new year!

    Nursery: 0 - 18 monthsToddlers: 18 months - 3 yearsPreK (3-5K): children must have turned3 by 9/1/2012, potty trained and canseparate from parents easily. If yourchild is 3 by the date but has notreached the other milestones, he/she

    may join their new class once they do.

    Elementary kids move to the grade they are going into.8:30 a.m. - 1st-5th graders attend choir.9:45 a.m. - graded classes for 1st-5th graders.Every 1st Sunday of the month we meet as agroup for worship and lesson time.

    11:00 a.m. - 1st-5th graders attend a group class.

    Kids Choir Christmas Musical Practice begins Today!!

    Each year our childrens ministry & music department put on a

    delightful musical on the first Sunday in December! This years

    production is For the Glory of the King! The stage is set in red and

    green, the Kids Christmas Choir is waiting in the wings, the script is

    written, and the narrators for this year's Christmas concert are all setand ready to go well, all but one. All 1st -5th grade kids come join us

    at 8:30 in Room 10 to begin an awesome year!

    Communion/Lords Supper

    All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion.

    If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you

    are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as

    they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while

    it is in front of them before passing it along.

    Offering

    In all of our services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act

    of worship and voluntary.

    Nursery

    We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the

    north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
