I,

INTRODUCTION.

The Gaudiya Mission has already published the Report of its

First Year's activities in England. We have now, by the Grace

of our Master, the pleasure to present the public with the

Report of our Second Year's works in Europe.

By the Mercy of the President of the Gaudiya Mission, His

Divine Grace Paramahansa Paribrajakacharyabarya 108 Sri

Srimad Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati Gosvarni, we have been able

to render our humble services to the fulfillment of the wish

of Srila Thakur Bhaktivinode, the .father of the present

Movement of unalloyed devotion in India. According to the

capacity God has given us, we have been carrying out the

Message of Sri Krishna Chaitanya in particular and the Teach-

ings and Philosophy of Hinduism in general to the people

of Europe.

During the First Year, our activities were mostly confined to

England, except for a short tour to the Universities of Berlin

and Koenigsberg, while this year we have the honour to inform

the devotees of the world about our extensive works in Eng-

land, Germany, Czechoslovakia and Austria.

We have been further encouraged by the fact that we have

found two sincere souls in Herrn Ernst-Georg Schulze and

Herrn Baron Hans-Eberhard von Koth, who are going to

India to devote themselves wholly to the service of our Master

and the Lord.

Praying for more energy and abilities from our Divine Master

we now enter upon our Third Year's activities in the West.
