Why These Instructors?

George Joseph is an expert witness and consulting investigator. He has been a witness for some of the biggest casino scams in the United States including a $3,000,000 baccarat scam, $3,000,000 chip cup scam, $1,900,000 marked card scam, $1,500,000 camera in the sleeve scam, and several others in his over 25 years of experience.

Mr. Joseph has several published works and been featured on several television specials included America’s Most Wanted, Cheating Las Vegas, and Cracking the Con. He is considered by many to be the best in the industry for solving gaming schemes.

Grant Eve CPA, CFE, is a Partner for JOSEPH EVE CPA’s and Consultants. He brings several years of auditing and consulting experience with him. He was previously employed at a big 4 accounting � rm in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the � rm’s National Gaming Practice. Grant was responsible for the supervision of SEC public attestation engagements, private entities, and the implementation of the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002. Mr. Eve has spoken on a wide variety of subjects

Glen Galt, CPA, is JOSEPH EVE’s “go to” manager when a casino client comes to us with major operational, compliance, or � nancial issues. The Seminar Purpose?Most Tribal Casinos have made a signi� cant investment in the internal audit and gaming commission function recommended by the NIGC Minimum Internal Controls. However, external audit and NIGC scrutiny have resulted in numerous compliance violations as it relates to the internal audit function. As the internal audit role has evolved, so has the responsibility upon the department. Annual continuing education also helps ensure that your auditors are following the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
