PreparationTrace each template onto plastic and cut out. Label the right side of the template and note that Template 2 and 3 face different directions.

CuttingWOF = Width of Fabric, LOF = Length of Fabric Templates 2 and 3 are cut from a single fabric layer. Stack the strips right side up and cut as shown in the cutting diagram.

SewingAll seam allowances are 1⁄4” (.64cm) and pieces are sewn right sides together.

1. Sew (1) Fabric A Template 2 and (1) Template 3 to opposite sides of each Fabric C-PP Template 1 piece a shown (Fig. 1). Trim to 71⁄4” (18.42cm) square. Make a total of (80) Triangle Blocks.

Quilt Top Assembly2. Following the Quilt Layout diagram on page 5 for

placement and orientation, sew the Triangle blocks into (10) rows of (8) blocks each. Press the seams in alternate directions for adjacent rows. Sew the rows together. Press the seams in one direction.

3. Sew (1) 61⁄2” x 68” (16.51cm x 172.72cm) Fabric B strip to each side of the quilt top.

4. Sew (1) 61⁄2” x 68” (16.51cm x 172.72cm) Fabric B strip to the top and the other to the bottom of the quilt, aligning the print with the side borders. Trim the quilt to 67” x 801⁄2” (170.18cm x 204.47cm)

Finishing5. Sew together the (8) 21⁄4” x WOF (5.72cm x WOF)

Fabric A binding strips end to end using diagonal seams. Press the seams open. Press the binding strip in half wrong sides together.

6. Layer the backing (wrong side up), batting, and quilt top (right side up). Baste the layers together and quilt as desired. Trim excess batting and backing even with the top after quilting is completed.

7. Leaving an 8” (20.32cm) tail of binding, sew binding to top of quilt through all layers matching all raw edges. Miter corners. Stop approximately 12” (30.48cm) from where you started. Lay both loose ends of binding flat along quilt edge. Where these two loose ends meet, fold them back on themselves and press to form a crease. Using this crease as your stitching line, sew the two open ends of the binding together right sides together. Trim seam to 1⁄4” (.64cm) and press open. Finish sewing binding to quilt.

8. Turn the binding to the back of quilt and hand-stitch in place.
