General Rules for the Campmeeting Association

Sanitation:1. Garbage must be placed in appropriate receptacles located in the parking lot and not those near the caretaker’s home.2. Everyone must help if we are to keep the grounds neat and clean.

Utilities:1. Connections of electric and water to and from cottages must be ap-proved by the trustees.2. Waste water from cottages must meet county health regulations by emptying into sump.

Pet Guidelines:Pet owners are expected to accept responsibility for their pets in the special circumstances of community living.

1. It is mandatory by the Columbiana County Health Department that every pet staying on the grounds MUST have their immunization/ra-bies’ record from their veterinarian on file in the camp office.2. Owners must immediately clean up any messes that their pet may cause.3. Pets must be kept quiet during services and night hours.4. Owners must protect other campers from harm or annoyance.5. Under no circumstances should pets be allowed to run free while camp is occupied. Pets are to be kept at the location of the owners residence on campus except for being walked on a leash.6. Avoid walking pets after the evening service in crowded areas.7. Pets are NOT permitted on the porch or in the dining hall, taber-nacle, pavilion or dorms.

Community Living:This campground has been set aside for community living in Chris-tian fellowship and renewal. It is the prayer of the churches in the Tri-State Campmeeting Association that the events held here will provide much enjoyment for the people involved. Community living is never easy. Some may have to give up certain practices while staying on the grounds. Others may have to acquire new habits while participating in the camping events. These kinds of sacrifices are worthwhile, however, as we show the larger community that we love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength; and that we love one another.

Use of Grounds and Buildings:1. Permission to use the campgrounds for organized activities must be given to the Camp Association president.2. Cottage owners should check in with the caretaker before and after performing work or spending the night.3. The tabernacle, dining hall, dormitories, restrooms and other acces-sories of the camp must be protected at all times. No tree or bushes shall be cut or marred without permission of the trustees. Damaging of build-ings, equipment or natural environment is a very serious offense.

Personal Conduct:1. All persons are expected to attend all age-level programs and public ser-vices. Parents are asked not to allow children and youth to wander the grounds unsupervised during evening worship. All cell phones and beepers must be turned off during the evening worship service.2. Everyone is expected to dress in keeping with Christian modesty. Because of the community living, we feel that the following guidelines must be ob-served: • females should NOT wear short-shorts, tube tops or tank tops • males should NOT wear short-shorts & MUST wear a shirt at all times • adults & teens MUST wear a cover-up over swimsuits • all campers are encouraged to help make evening worship special by being especially sensitive in the selection of clothes for that event.

3. Proper consideration of others must be observed at all times. The curfew is 11:00 p.m. The patio must be cleared and quiet be main-tained until the rising bell. Any activities to go past curfew must be approved by the camp director. Radios are permitted in cottages, rooms and campers only.4. Young people who date while on the campgrounds must maintain modesty and decency in their associations with each other.5. Use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, illegal drugs and fireworks are prohibited.6. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, basketballs and other amusements should be put away on Sundays and by 6:00 p.m. each evening in preparation for the worship service. All bicycles, skate-boards, rollerblades, scooters, basketballs and other amusement items should be kept off the porch area at all times as a safety precaution for the older adult population.7. The Lord’s Day is to be observed as a time for worship, Chris-tian fellowship and service, and renewal of mind and spirit. An effort should be made to avoid boisterous play and distractive noises. Pack-ing and moving are discouraged during time of worship.8. Everyone must register at the camp office during the posted hours only. Campers younger than 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian unless working in the dining hall.9. The camp authorities reserve the right to request anyone who is in violation of these rules to leave the campgrounds.

Dining Hall & Good News’ Tabernacle Dorm Rentals:1. Room rentals may be acquired through the camp office.2. A twenty-five dollar ($25) deposit per room must be placed with the camp business manager which will be refunded by mail following camp after inspection by the trustees. Any damages or missing items will be deducted from the deposit.3. Rooms will only be rented to those 18 years of age or older.4. Due to community living, quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and must be strictly observed.5. No pets are allowed in the dorm.
