It’s very satisfying for me to see breeders progress and improve in the industry, and the great people at Tri K have raised the bar consistently. Purchasing great herdsires like Matrix has truly elevated the Tri K program. The Matrix sons are soft sided and loaded with muscle. They are the easy to appreciate kind of cattle! The black bulls are led by some exceptional Stubby grandsons. Soft sided with a ton of hair and great muscle expression, you won’t miss these guys Sale day. Hello and welcome to another edition of the Transcon Peace Country Simmental Bull Sale. Thank you to all our past cus-tomers for your continued support of our program. This year we have decided to move the sale up to the Saturday to make it a bit easier for our customer’s schedule at this particular time of year. Our bull pen is deep in quality this year.We have

performance and calving ease orientated bulls to suit each individual’s needs. Matrix has done it again this year putting together a set of brothers the commercial cattleman will love. Other sons from Carisma, Lewie, and Eddy herdsires complement the bull pen nicely. There will also be a few A.I. sired bulls to expand your genetic options. Most bulls will have had Poll testing and the black animals will have coat color testing done as well. Please feel free to give Dad or I a call or stop in at farm to go over/see the bulls. Homo Polled. One of my personal favorites this year that could have easily started this whole group off had he been born a month earlier like the rest of his brothers. Given he is a month younger but looks like this, 110F has a lot of potential and could be the sleeper of the sale. A calf that has a lot of presence and style. Huge middle, tons of hip and blood red. He moves really well and has great square black feet. The kind of bull that stops you in your tracks for a second look.

Homo Polled. The downside to such a consistent group is it starts getting hard not to sound like a broken record doing write ups. The sire group has a stamp sharing so many similar qualities. Dark red and long bodied out of a solid red cow we purchased from Maxwell Simmentals. 142F is very smooth made and is built to calve really easy. Lots to like about this guy.

Blood red that has a lot of likeable qualities. Super soggy, long bodied and a great disposition. 28F has a great BW to YW spread, curve bending traits that are in demand. Looking at 28F you’d be surprised he comes from a first calf heifer. A true feature for a heifer to raise and this young cow will be sure to rise to the top of our herd with this kind of production. These Chevalier daughters make great cows! Mix in Carisma this guy has a pretty solid pedigree. We sold a Carisma heifer calf to the good program of Leewood Ranch and our high selling bull in last year’s sale was a Carisma son going to Ashworth Farm and Ranch and they are happy with how he has developed. KKH CASH 14FHomo Polled. We have been pretty excited about this guy throughout his development. Eagerly anticipated he was one of the two Cash calves we had in 2018. Cash was a bull we actually tried to buy and were runners up on but we were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to purchase a semen package on the $26000 calving ease bull after the sale. The stars lined up on Cash 14F. Born into this world at 78lbs and still weaned at 878lbs. A true curve bender and something everyone is looking for in a heifer bull. Born easy and grow!! This guy is right in a lot of ways Color, Conformation, Good Feet, Hair, Quiet and a fresh pedigree on the red side. Elite bulls need solid dams and this guy checks the box there too. The Lone Stone cow does it again raising a top end bull in our bull pen for the 3rd straight year. Homo Polled. A real performance bull here. Use 128F to and some size and length to your cow herd. Lots of hair, nice small head and did I mention long bodied! Probably won't find this pedigree up north. Denali was a bull we bought that was sired by the famous Liner 104S whose semen is rare and brought $1000 per straw the last time it was auctioned off. Three days into breeding we lost 84D to a broken leg. We were lucky enough to get this Lot 23 calf and a wicked red baldy heifer in the replacement pen. We only have a handful of straws left on the LRX 84D bull so my suggestion would be try to secure a son before they are no longer available. 128F is above average in almost all EPD categories. This guy should sire some unreal females. His dam is one of our top producing cows with a strong udder and 84D’s flushmate sisters are some of Robb Farms top young cows.

Albrecht Farms has been an active breeder of Red and Black Simmental for 20 years. Our program emphasizes in using quality genetics that breeds for soundness, temperament, udder quality and longevity in the rugged terrain we live in. Our Bull sale offering this year will consist of 11 bulls all out of highly functioning cows from proven genetics. There will be 9 reds and 2 black bulls on offer all which are structurally sound and have good temperament. We have a good mix of bulls coming from our walking herd sires SilverLake Brute 18B and WFL Mr Westway 46A along with some breed leading AI sire. Freadey is a big time calving ease prospect out of one of the breed leading CE sires, Kuntz Sheriff 8A. His progeny is the curve bending type, sought after because of their small BWs and growth traits that aren’t sacrificed like typical CE bulls. This solid red bull has perfect feet and leg structure, big testicles, wide topped, has a big rear quarter and his front 1/3 transitions into smooth shoulders and a small head. His dam is one of the first daughters out of our walking herdsire, Silverlake Brute 18B. Brute was the lead off bull at the 2015 Prairie Partner sale where we purchased him from Silver Lake Farms. A very clean, small headed, smooth made son out of our Black Edge walking herdsire.
