Thank you to all that racers and families that supported Vega Dirt Series Race # 4 at Volusia speedway June 17th.

As the light rain stopped Friday evening the track was prepared by track owner/race director Mike Hunter and staff. During Saturday’s practice sessions the track was getting faster and faster as the day went on and qualifying was completed in full.

Saturday brought the Vega series bright sunny weather until the start of the first final event. That is when the skies opened up and dumped 45 minutes to 1 hour of heavy duty rain. It was decided to call the event and issue points and payouts on qualifying results after tech was completed.

Due to the weather and tech being performed we did not get Winners Circle photos.
