Offered by the Cockrell School of Engineering’s Equal Opportunity in Engineering (EOE) Program, the Texas Research Experience (TREX) Program provides upper division undergraduate students the opportunity participate and engage in research. TREX provides an enhanced undergraduate academ-ic experience through the coordination of research and product development in an academic setting. TREX connects undergraduates with UT faculty who have research and product development opportuni-ties. Participants are also exposed to the benefits of obtaining a graduate degree in engineering, and learn how to become a competitive graduate school applicant.
