Hydrogeology Fieldwork Installation of Piezometer groundwater monitoring wells and use of surface water handheld
probe and bacteria sampling using a Hach portable incubator kit. Proficient in soil sample
extraction for analysis and performing wetland delineation.
Laboratory Analysis Experience using Hach colorimeters and reagent pillow packs, algal population density
determinations, specifically Microcystis aeruginosa and other harmful cyanobacteria
responsible for algal blooms and fish kills. Performed chemical soil analysis, bulk density and
porosity calculations and color determinations for upland, transition, and wetland zones.
Geographic Information Science (GIS) Arcmap GIS software, Aqtesolv groundwater flow modeling and slug testing as part of
Geology minor and Wetland Delineation coursework.
Machine Operation Bobcat tractor operation for landscaping and construction. Experience with Pulaski trail
building tools, axes and chainsaws for construction, trail maintenance, firewood cutting and
tree removal.
Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Wordperfect, PowerPoint and Excel.
