CW3PR worked with Trevor to bring home his second Emmy win for Outstanding
Original Main Title Theme Music, “The Borgias,” and his second Gemini Award
win (Canada’s equivalent to our Emmy Awards) for Best Original Music Score for a Program or Series, “The Tudors.”
Additionally, the team secured a plethora of press surrounding the release of
Trevor’s first major blockbuster film, Relativity’s “Immortals,” and also promoted
his new state-of-the-art scoring studio in Santa Monica.

Public Spotlight
In November, CW3PR arranged a special event to honor Trevor’s impressive
career at the GRAMMY Museum at LA Live, following in the footsteps of Hans
Zimmer and Danny Elfman who received the same honor. In “Reel to Reel: An
Evening with Trevor Morris,” attendees also were treated to a special Q&A
moderated by Scott Goldman, the museum’s Vice President, as well as a live
composing demonstration with Trevor. Audience members were among the first
to see clips from the soon-to-be released film “Immortals,” and also got to see a
special scoring featurette, which CW3PR produced in London’s Air Studios. The
featurette captured behind-the-scenes footage of Trevor in action, as well as
commentary from “Immortals” producers Mark Canton, Gianni Nunnari and
director Tarsem Singh.
This past fall, CW3PR pitched and confirmed Trevor for The Hollywood
Reporter/Billboard Film & TV Music Conference’s prestigious “Evolution of a
Score and Music Placement” panel.

How was it different than working on a regular series?
Trevor:
Time frame was the toughest. That and creating, yet
again, a new language for something from the middle
ages. There was no recorded music from that era, so
you are creating a vernacular from scratch. It’s a
challenge but I totally dig that kind of challenge, it
suits me. That and I got to work with the Scott
brothers, my all time hands down no contest favorite
film makers of all time. I would lay down in traffic to
work on their movies.

I’m free to paint with the colors I hear in my
head and to musically enhance the best
story possible. For The Borgias, 1492 Italy
may not have had a modern orchestra, or
the valve French horn was not invented yet,
but if I decide that color will tell the right
story…in it goes. Modern audiences are able
to put together the pieces in their own
minds, because they have such an expanded
palette of musical choices that they’ve seen
represented throughout the years.
Finally, what projects have you got in the
pipeline for the rest of 2011?
Borgias II is spinning up, and doing a great
feature with Bruce Willis and 50 cent called
"Fire with Fire" which I get into soon as well.

Results
As a result of a robust press campaign, Trevor was able to pick up two new gigs
as the composer for the scores for a new NBC drama ”The Firm”, and the feature
film “Bending the Rules.”
To kick-off summer 2012, CW3PR booked Trevor to participate at the
International Film Music Festival in Ubeda, Spain. He will be among a large group
of notable composers who will perform and/or hold film scoring master classes.
