Film Treatment

The PresentBus-stopSub-urban street

Morning

Dave, looking tired, waits for his bus at the side of the street. When it comes hemopes onto it depressingly, he doesnt talk to anyone on the bus and keeps tohimself, standing at the back with dark rings under his eyes.

He gets off the bus and it drives away, he rubs his eyes and walks lazily down

the road, turning and opening the door with as minimal effort as possible.

The PresentOfficeMorning/Afternoon

Time passes as he stares at his computer screen, with his hands placed in theusual position on his keyboard, the reflection of the computer can be seen in hiseyes, and we can also see tons of paper scattered into an organised mess on hisdesk, alongside this a printer.

The PresentBedroomMorning

Dave wakes up in a groundhog day sort of style with his alarm bleeping at6:30am. He gets out of bed with a silent moan.

Dave mopes again waiting for the bus, when it comes he gets on and goes to theback. Throughout the journey he remains silent again even as people smile athim.

After getting off the bus, Dave takes the same walk again down the road towardshis office when a bird poos on him, disgusted, he stops and tries to scrape it off,

nearly throwing up. He turns into his office.

In his usual position, Dave continues working on his computer, after a fewminutes his boss (shown only as a hand) drops a large pile of paper on his desk,knocking other papers off.

Waking up to his alarm at 6:30, Dave gets out of bed.

Morning

Waiting for the bus, Dave looks tired and depressed, unfortunately the bus goesstraight past him and so he walks to work, it takes him a while and he gets prettytired, it is a long walk to work, the next bus also goes past him whilst he iswalking.

Walking alongside his workplace, a bird again poos on him, he completelyignores it and goes to work, with the bird poo on his shoulder.

Dave is almost ready to top himself, his boss throws a pile of paper on his deskthat is so big most of it misses, the rest of it shakes the table and then morepaper falls off. After a few more minutes a popup appears on his screen sayingAre you bored of your job? and he clicks on it and waits, suddenly piles of

money begin appearing out of his printer for the first time his eyes light up ashe picks up this wad of money now in his hands, he walks into his bosses officeand waves goodbye sarcastically to him/her. And leaves the doors of the office.

Stuff happens and he is happy.

A huge pile of paper is dropped on Daves desk and he wakes up in shock. Thewhole thing was a dream. He continues working.
