MUSIC VIDEO TREATMENT

ARTIST- HULASONG- SEE ME

Page 2: Treatment

OVERVIEW

• The concept is about a young woman's life and the problems she is going through upon reflection. The video is metaphorical as she goes through a house after a long night out looking for the exit but keeps going through rooms that remind her of phases in her life. Each room represents a different phase.

ARTIST’S PERFORMANCE• We want to have the artist in a big house, waking up after a heavy night. She

patrols the house looking for a way out, but every time she passes a room there is something unexpected in there. The nature of the music means that the artist will not be dancing, but she will be singing and walking slowly through the house in time to the music. There are going to be several slow motion shots of flashbacks to the night before, to show the audience that she is extremely hung over this explains the slow beat of the song.

SET UP OF SCENES

The setting is based in different rooms that sysmbolize her childhood. There are 4 rooms. The first room is a pink room with balloons, the next room is a black room with smoke, the next room is a room with money raining down. The last room is an empty room before she finally gets to the exit door. (Underwater maybe).

STYLING• The impression we want to give is that our main character is relaxed and chilled in a

comfortable environment. Seeming, as the genre of the song is Indie we decided to stick to a slightly indie-casual style to go with the mellow tune. Examples of this are black leggings, dark jeans, baggy shirts/top, dark trainers or boots, messy hair (down - slightly in her face); to highlight the morning after feel. During the party scenes a slightly less messy hair do to show comfort. We are open to any other suggestions for her costume but feel that our character shouldn’t be over styled. We don’t want her to be to put together as she is going through several different personality/stages of life.
