The Treasury Committee as a whole will vote upon the allocation and distribution of funds. 2. Once the Treasury Committee has approved the allocation of specific funds, two (2) pre-approved Co-Treasurers will distribute the funds. Must be approved by consensus within the GA to be considered a designated Co-Treasurer. 4. Occupy London General Assembly Treasury Committee (Template approved by the Occupy London General Assembly during Occupation of Victoria Park.)

SECTION 1: Composition of Treasury Committee 1. The Treasury Committee as a whole will vote upon the allocation and

distribution of funds. 2. Once the Treasury Committee has approved the allocation of specific funds,

two (2) pre-approved Co-Treasurers will distribute the funds. AT ALL TIMES, a minimum of two (2) individuals must comprise the roles of Co-Treasurers. This is to ensure trustworthy, transparent, peer-reviewed allocation of funds.

3. Anyone who wishes to be a part of the Treasury Committee may designate themselves as a member of the committee; however, in order to be considered for the role of Co-Treasurer and, thus, specific handling of monetary assets and physical resources, the potential representatives must meet certain requirements:

a. Must have attended at least four (4) General Assemblies. b. Must be deemed worthy and put forth for nomination to the GA via

consensus by the Treasury Committee members. c. Must be approved by consensus within the GA to be considered a

designated Co-Treasurer. 4. Anyone temporarily nominated as Co-Treasurer must step down from the

position if accusations of corruption or mishandling of funds are brought forth by any member(s) of the GA (perhaps consider an investigation process-eventually??)

SECTION 2: Role of the Treasury Committee 1. The role of the Treasury Committee includes, but is not limited to, intake of

donations, allocation of funds, handling of monetary assets and physical resources.

5. Donation intake totals should be calculated daily so as to avoid conflict.

SECTION 3: Interaction with the Treasury Committee 1. The Treasury Committee binder is located in the library. This binder will be

the main point of reference for those wishing to inform themselves on the process of the Treasury Committee and all related information.

2. Notes from each Treasury Committee meeting will be kept and transferred over to the Treasury Committee binder.

3. All decisions within the Treasury Committee are made they must be recorded in the Treasury Committee binder.

recorded in the Treasury Committee binder will be void until such a time that the information can be transferred over to the Treasury Committee binder.

SECTION 4: Reimbursement: 1. Using the appropriate form, submit your request for reimbursement with the

receipt of the purchase. This form can be submitted to any of the selected delegates of the Treasury Committee, whose names can be found on the white board as points of contact.

2. Those requests under $50.00, which upon consideration of the Treasury Committee are deemed justified, will be reimbursed without notification to the GA.

3. Those requests over $50.00 will be re-formed into proposals during a Treasury Committee meeting. They will then be formatted for presentation to the GA and presented to the GA review.

4. A ledger will be kept at all times, documenting every donation received and every reimbursement or allocation of funds that occurs. This ledger will be kept in the Treasury Committee Binder available for all to see at any time.

5. All counting of money or reimbursement/allocation of funds can ONLY be completed when two (2) members of the Treasury Committee are present, and MUST be recorded in the ledger. Monetary donations may be taken by any single member of this committee but must be kept in the lock box or deposited.
