Velkommen til Stevne 2021!Welcome to the 18th Annual Tre-Lag Stevne. Our three lags, Gudbrandsdalslag, Nord Hedmark og Hedemarken Lag, and

Trønderlag first met together in a joint stevne in 2003 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Since then, we have met in many locations in the Dakotas, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Attendees have come from Canada, Norway, Sweden, and all over the United States. We have connected with our Scandinavian roots through genealogy and learned about our shared heritage through the many wonderful historical and cultural presentations. We have connected in person. We have welcomed new attendees. We have met extended family members and we have made new friends.

We also made it through a major historic event – The COVID 19 Pandemic. It may have delayed this meeting by a year, but we were patient and dedicated to keeping our connections strong. So here we are again; connecting with friends, making new friends, and willing to keep learning.

This will be the last Tre Lag Stevne. What?? Yes, this will be the last time we meet as three lags. In 2022 we will join with Romerikslag and Solørlag in the new Flere Lag Stevne. Plans are already underway for our next stevne, even as this one is just beginning.

Workshop: Hardanger Klubb Returns to StevneHosted by Ginny Nelson, providing Hardanger embroidery instruction with

videos and personalized help for beginners and more advanced stitchers. Bring your projects to work on with a friendly group. Get help for

problems and difficult stitches. Beginners are welcome. Some beginner kits will be available; advanced users should bring their own supplies and tools.
