Wednesday – 2 May 2018 Johannesburg/Cape Town On arrival at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport connect with your scheduled flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to the luxurious Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa. The award-winning 5-star Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is situated on Cape Town’s most scenic route. Named for the ruggedly beautiful mountain range that towers behind it, The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is characterized by impeccable design and luxury. This afternoon you will depart to Table Mountain, the most iconic landmark of South Africa. Take a cable car ride up to the top of Table Mountain (weather dependant) to enjoy the magnificent view of the Cape. The main feature of Table Mountain is the level plateau from one side to the other, edged by impressive cliffs. Table Mountain is often covered by clouds to form the so-called "table cloth" of cloud.

Thursday – 3 May 2018 Cape Town After breakfast today, get ready to experience some magnificent views when you take a helicopter flight along the Atlantic Seaboard from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (this is subject to weather conditions). The flight takes about 15 minutes and you will be able to enjoy Cape Town from a bird’s eye view.

In the afternoon you will transfer to the Amy Biehl Foundation. On August 25, 1993, Amy Biehl’s life was tragically cut short in an act of political mob violence in the Gugulethu Township just outside of Cape Town.


Four young men were convicted of her murder, and after spending 5 years in prison were granted amnesty through the parents of Amy and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Determined to honour Amy’s love of South Africa and her belief in the truth and reconciliation process, Amy’s parents founded the organisation. The vision at The Amy Foundation is to provide the best children and youth programs where all achieve and succeed in life. For 22 years, the Amy Foundation has been working to provide students in the Cape Town area with enrichment opportunities. With over 2000 children participating in their programmes daily, the Amy Foundation empowers both the participants at the schools as well as the surrounding communities.

Friday – 4 May 2018 Cape Town/Cape Peninsula Tour Today depart on your full day Cape Peninsula Tour with a visit to Cape Point, Boulders Beach to visit the Penguins, Funicular and Chapman’s Peak. On this tour you will see why the area earned the name of The Fairest Cape. Sit back and relax, as you drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise –from Clifton to Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno and towards the charming working harbour of Hout Bay. The tour then winds its way along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breathtaking ocean views. Visit the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom.

On the way back along the coast towards the city, visit the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

There will be a stop for lunch. Later in the afternoon you will arrive at the Victoria and Alfred Hotel where you will spend two nights. The 4-star Victoria & Alfred Hotel is ideally located in the energetic heart of Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The hotel is well situated, with views of the working harbour and Table Mountain. All of the spacious rooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms.

Saturday – 5 May 2018 Cape Town/Franschhoek Winelands Tour Depart on a full-day tour to the exquisite Franschhoek Valley in the beautiful mountains of the Cape Winelands for an olive oil tasting, wine tasting and lunch. You will then have some free time to explore the quaint little town of Franschhoek before returning back to Cape Town.

Sunday – 6 May 2018 Cape Town/Hoedspruit Early breakfast and transfer to Cape Town International Airport in time for your scheduled flight to Hoedspruit. On arrival at Hoedspruit you will be transferred to Kapama Private Game Reserve to begin your 5-star safari with exceptional game viewing at one of Africa's most extraordinary private reserves. Tuesday – 8 May 2018 Hoedspruit/Johannesburg/Depart Enjoy an early morning game drive to track the animals that may have eluded you so far, followed by breakfast. (B) Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Johannesburg to connect with your scheduled South African Airways flight to New York (JFK).
