Interest • Ludwigsburg Palace and

Gardens• Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian

Alps• Munich and Dachau

LOGISTICS• Students & Faculty:

– 4-6 Elementary, Inclusive, and/or Middle Grades majors & Dr. Luke

– 4-6 HPE majors & Dr. Grube– NOTE: Open to all Education majors

• Travel Dates: May 9-24• Location:

– Ludwigsburg University of Education, Ludwigsburg, Germany

• Travel:– Fly to Stuttgart; travel by train to Ludwigsburg and the

Bavarian and Swabian regions in southern Germany.• Accommodations:

– Housing: apartment near the university– Hotel in Munich, Gästhaus in Berchtesgaden

Educational Experiences:• Take the EDEL 446:

Digital Literacy class in Germany with German Teacher Education students

• Collaborate and Interact with German Student Teachers

• Explore schooling in Germany and compare/contrast practices

• Create a multimedia digital story of your experiences in Germany to share with others

Educational Experiences:• Take HPE 305 Adventure-Based Learning• Interact with German Sport majors at the

University of Ludwigsburg• Learn about schooling in Germany• Visit a German public school• Teach an activity to German school

children

Cultural Experiences: • Visit Schloss Ludwigsburg and

the City Center• Travel to Munich and Dachau• Visit Berchtesgaden• Tour the University of Weingarten• Visit Historic Tübingen
