Free tax preparation THROUGH MARCH 31 Big Bass Challenge The Fort Hood 2015 Big Bass Contest began Sunday and will run through March 31. The cost is $2 per participant, and the challenge is open to all. Registration and weigh-ins are at the Sportsmen’s Center Pro Shop, Bldg. 1937, Rod and Gun Club Loop, 53rd Street and Murphy Road. A Fort Hood Fishing Permit and state license are required to partici- pate. Soldiers get free state “Super Combo” licenses with proof of six months of Texas residency. Proof of residency for this license includes military service record indicating Texas is the person’s home of record or the person’s duty station for the six months immediately prior to the time of application. Ben Hogan Classic The Ben Hogan Classic, a four- person golf scramble, will take place Friday at the Courses of Clear Creek. The shotgun start will begin at 10 a.m. The scramble is open to the first 200 who register.
