SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTSince 1989, the Dubuque Homebuilders & Associates have partnered with Jackson Expo Group in the production of the Tri-State Home & Builders Show. Over the past 32 years, the show has provided an outlet for exhibitors to showcase their products and services to potential customers in the local area.

In March of this year, Bill Jackson submitted a letter to our organization stating that he was going to retire and will no longer be producing the Tri-State Home & Builders Show. We send our sincere thanks to Bill Jackson for his help in the home show over the past and wish him the best in his retirement.

The exciting news is that the Dubuque Homebuilders & Associates will now host the Greater Dubuque Home & Builders Show! The show will continue to be held at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, Iowa on the last weekend of February on an annual basis. We are in the process of developing new plans and ideas to inject interest into the show, moving it into the future of the homebuilding industry.

A new Exhibitor Packet will be available in the very near future and can be mailed out to anyone who is interested in exhibiting at the show. A copy of all the paperwork as well as show information will be available on our website for easy retrieval.

What a great day we had for the annual Golf Outing at Lacoma Golf Course this year. The weather was a beautiful summer day with the sun shining for everyone to enjoy. This year’s event was a little different than those in the past.

Around 100 golfers participated in the event this year, and even with the current restrictions, we still had a wonderful day of networking and fun.

We were fortunate to have Hole-in-one sponsors by Runde Auto Group on the Blue Course and Turpin Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram on the Red/Gold Course. Hole Sponsors were on hand to visit with the golfers as they made their way around the course.

The grill masters from Kalmes Catering grilled up the delicious steaks and served the meal with all the trimmings. Raffle items were presented and flight winners were recognized.

We want to thank our Platinum sponsor, Horsfield Materials and Gold sponsor, Gerhard’s Kitchen & Bath for their assistance this year in making our Golf Outing another successful event. Thank you!
