Millennium Line Broadway Extension to Arbutus
• The Mayors’ Council Vision calls for rapid transit in the Broadway Corridor to UBC.
• The Vision prioritizes the extension of the Millennium Line to Arbutus Street within the first 10 years.
• The extension supports future rapid transit to UBC.
• Extension will be designed for the same ultimate capacity as Expo and Millennium Lines

Broadway Extension Regulatory Review
Regulatory areas where the City can support the project:
Design Advisory Process (DAP) and Construction Approval Process (CAP)
• Process refined using existing processes as the base
Amendments to the Noise Control By-Law• Extending the duration of exceptions from 60 days
to up to 180 days, subject to an acceptable noise mitigation strategy
