The Kindergarten Readiness Act of 2010
• Changes the kindergarten entry date from December 2 to September 1, so
children enter kindergarten at age 5. By 2014-2015 and thereafter, all students
must be 5 years old by September 1.
• The legislation creates Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for “young fives,” for those
students who are born between September 2 and December 2.

Arrival Procedures
Class begin at 7:45 amArrival for students is 7:35 am
All TK students will arrive at the small Kindergartengate along Valencia.
Dismissal Procedures
All TK and Kinder classes end at 11:32 am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
We will dismiss at the small back gate on Morning Glory!
Children will only be released to an adult on the emergency card.Children will be escorted to the office for pick up after 10 min.
*1 hour earlier than other days
