A typical 1970s chalet bungalow given a ‘fabric first’, passive-house style,comprehensive energy uprate; and an internal re-organisation forspaciousness, suitability for old age and external appearance.

The aim was to re-shape this much loved family home to 21st Centurystandard for a long, healthy, low-cost, independent retirement , inspaciousness and light.

roof (250 mm thick) forming an unbroken ‘tea cosy’

Directions: Take Princetown Road leading out of Tavistock, turn right into VioletLane opposite Mount House (Mount Kelly) lodge gates. Campion Rise is first on theright off Violet Lane. No 5 is on the left.

Public Transport: Walk from centre oftown (10 mins, incl. steep hill), following roadsigns to Princetown (via Dolvin Road & MountTavy Road) - look for Green Hill rising steeply tothe right: no entry to traffic.
