3200A OUT DOOR KIOSK AND BUSDUCTThis specification covers the design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing atmanufacturer's works, loading at works and transportation to site in a properly packedcondition, erection, testing and commissioning of 415 V LT Scope consisting of LTKIOSK with all accessories for efficient and trouble-free operation of the Panel for mainelectrical system.

DESIGN CRITERIA

The 3200A PCC Panel having with 3200A,4P ACB with necessary Axillaryprotection and located at nearest transformer. The Kiosk shall be made with suitable ofinput supply from T/F Al bus duct and Outgoing Cable termination.

a) 3200A Kiosk - 3 Nosb) BUSDUCT - 15 Mtrs

Construction of OUT DOOT PANELThe PANEL shall be self standing, floor mounted, compartmentalized, made of minimum2 mm thick CRCA sheet steel cubicle with metal / insulating partitions and the thicknessof doors / covers also shall not be less than 2 mm.

The enclosure shall conform to IP-65 degree of protection.

The panels shall be rigid, vibration proof and free from bends and twists. Panel door andside doors shall have self-locking screws and locks.

The Panel shall have provision for bottom cable entry, and Removable gland platesshall be not less than 2.5 mm thick.

Foundation rolled channels (ISMC 100 or 75), cadmium plated / zinc passivated boltsand nuts and other necessary items shall be supplied along with the respectiveequipment.

Suitable lifting hooks shall be provided on each transport section for ease of lifting ofswitchboard.

SEVEN TANK TREATMENT INCLUDE FOLLOWING STAGES:

After complete the fabrication and before going to paint shop the Panel and all metalpart should be clean as per proper 7tank Chemical treatment relevant standards.

PaintingAfter Complete 7 tank process chemical treatment the PCC panel

Apply the powder coated paint as per approved shade shall be applied. Before makingpaint vendor shall confirm the shade.

The final thickness of paint film or steel shall not be less than 100 microns and shall notbe greater than 150 microns. Touch up quantity shall be supplied

Bus Bar for Kiosk BreakerBus bar material shall be aluminum of EC91 electrolytic grade as per Indian standardcode. Aluminum Used for the the bus bar is” Jindal” make only.

All bus bars, bus taps shall be insulated with close fitting sleeves of heat shrinkabletype.

Buses shall be fully insulated for working voltage, spaced with adequate clearance of atleast 35 mm between phases and 25 mm between phase and ground.

Size of Bus Bar: Use bus bar size 100x12x4Runs for RYB and 100x12x2Run forneutral from ACB to Main Bus bar and ACB to Cable termination point. The busbar shallbe use suitable support nearest at ACB and proper clearance shall be provide for CTcoil inset and also other relevant components.

Earthing Connections

The Entire panel shall be connected to a 60x10mm Aluminum earth bus bar and32x6mm Al Bus bar for ACBs and all doors and movable parts shall be connected to theearth bus with flexible copper connections. Provisions shall be made to connect theearthing bus bar to the plant earthing grids at two ends. All non-current carrying metallicparts of the mounted equipment shall be earthed.BUS DUCT:

Supply of 3 No of 415 Volts , 50 HZ, 6300 Amps, 3 Phase , 4 Wire Non – Segregatedinterleaved BUS – DUCT as per the following specifications.

The equipment shall be designed and manufactured in full accordance with relevant codes andregulations and shall be capable of safe and continuous operation under all conditions withoutstrain, vibration and other operational difficulties. The equipment shall be suitable for operation

under hot and humid tropical conditions.

The enclosure for 415 V busduct shall be of non – segregated enclosure made of sheet steelrectangular totally enclosed type of 2.0 mm thickness. The bus enclosure shall be ventilated andprotected with IP 65 degree of protection.

Adjacent enclosure section shall be jointed together by means of bolted flanges with nitrilegaskets in between to ensure a weather tight joint. Bolts and nuts and all other necessaryhardware shall be cadmium coated. Suitable flexible bellows shall be provided near thetransformer end connection to arrest vibration emanating from transformer.

The busbar shall be designed to keep enclosure losses to a minimum due to temperature rise.Provision shall be made for an expansion and contraction due to temperature variations andfaults. Bolted covers with gaskets for easy inspection and access to busbars /bus joints,Inspection opening of sufficient size shall be provided on the enclosure to facilitate inspection /maintenance of busbars, joints , insulators at any point without disconnectionThe busbars shall be in the form of straight extruded lengths of liberal sections rigidly supported/ braced with FRP HEAVY DUTY SUPPORTS conforming to IS 10912 UP1 grade to providethrough fault withstand capacity.Buses shall be air insulated with clearances as per BS between phases and between phasesand ground. Busbars shall be colour coded with Red , Yellow, Blue for easy identification ofphases and neutral with black colour.The busbar and bus connections shall be designed not to exceed a maximum temperature of 85degrees centigrade during continuous operation at rated current and at ambient temperature of50 degree centigrade. Under normal operating conditions ,the hot spot temperature of theenclosure shall not exceed 70 degree centigrade at the ambient temperature of 50 degreecentigrade.

Busbar joints bolted with high tensile cadmium plated bolts ,nuts and washers. Termination attransformer where the equipment terminals are of copper shall be made of laminated copperflexibles. The cross section of copper provided shall be adequate for continuous as well as shorttime ratings of busduct without exceeding the specified temperature rise valuesAll transformers shall have terminal bushings with flanged enclosure to receive the busduct.Supplier shall make necessary arrangements to match the busduct with the equipment terminalflanges. The flanges shall be provided with gaskets, nuts,bolts etc.

3200A PCC PANEL SpecificationsThis specification covers the design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing atmanufacturer's works, loading at works and transportation to site in a properly packedcondition, erection, testing and commissioning of 415 V LT Scope consisting of LT PCC panelwith all accessories for efficient and trouble-free operation of the Panel for main electricalsystem.

DESIGN CRITERIA

The 3200A PCC Panel consisting with 3x3200A ACBs for 1500KVA EB load and3x3200A ACBs for 2000KVA (2DG present connected and 1 is future DG) DGs sourcereceived and distributed to entire plant with 2Nos of 3200A Bus coupler for load balancingeither EB or DG source.

The PCC system operated with complete automation mode with SCADA through PLCwith all necessary back-end protection of reverse power, IDMT, line monitoring protection andother features. All the EB & DG incomers and Bus couplers should be operated through PLCwith necessary digital I/O’s and analogue Inputs to satisfy the complete scheme.

Also incorporated all output feeders on/off/trip feedbacks and Amperes taken feederwise in the SCADA for monitoring.

The scope of supply shall consist of the following, a)

3200A PCC Panel - 1 No’sb) Required PLC & SCAD with accessoriesc) 1.5KVA Online UPS for PCC Control System.

Construction

1.The PCC shall be self standing, floor mounted, compartmentalised, made of minimum 2 mmthick CRCA sheet steel cubicle with metal / insulating partitions between compartments. Thethickness of doors / covers also shall not be less than 2 mm.

2.The enclosure shall conform to IP-52 degree of protection.3.The operating height of the operating handle / switches shall be limited to a maximum of1800 mm and a minimum of 300 mm. Minimum compartment / module size shall be 400 x500 (H.W)

4.The panels shall be extendible at both ends for the additions of vertical sections either by abreaker panel or a fuse switch panel. Ends of the bus bars shall be suitably drilled for thispurpose.

5.The panels shall be rigid, vibration proof and free from bends and twists. Panel door and sidedoors shall have self-locking screws and locks.

6.The PCC shall have provision for bottom cable entry and gland plate shall be design foreasily cable removable and insert without any damage to the cable . The thickness of theRemovable gland plates shall be not less than 2.5 mm.Foundation rolled channels (ISMC 100 or 75), cadmium plated / zinc passivated bolts andnuts and other necessary items shall be supplied along with the respective equipment.

7.Suitable lifting hooks shall be provided on each transport section for easy lifting .

8.The PCC MCCB modules shall be arranged in vertical sections with barriers between eachmodule. The bus chambers as well as the breaker cubicles shall have provide thebarrier/partition as required to avoid the fair failures. A liberally sized (Please Check the GA)vertical cable alley shall be provided to accommodate all cables as per rating of the breaker asaccommodate 240sqmm, 31/2 core Al.Armored cable.

SEVEN TANK TREATMENT INCLUDE FOLLOWING STAGES:

After complete the fabrication of the PCC panel and before going to paint, the Panel andall metal part should be clean as on following methods.

1. The PCC should be treated to Degreased/ Surface cleaned in 20-30 minutes. Here you usemetrite SAG-HD Chemical at 10%. Which removes quickly Grease, Oils, carbonaceousdeposits, Paints?

2. Clean with water3. Next 20-30 minutes keep the panel in AP-H at 40% filled Tank. Which helps to removes rust

and etches and also helps good powder coating finish uniformly to base metal.4. Clean with water5. Clean with DSM at 2%.6. Clean with water7. Immersed for 20 minutes duration with ZLP-COLD-LP at 6%. For formation of Zincphosphate confirming to class “B” & class “C” IS: 3618. And passivate at 0.1%. This chemicalhelps in preventing corrosion and best Powder Coating finish. The Item is then taken out andair dried for five minutes and then taken to powder Coating booth.

Painting

After Complete 7 tank process chemical treatment for the PCC panel

Apply the powder coated paint as per approved shade by the developer.The final thickness of paint film or steel shall not be less than 100 microns and shall not begreater than 150 microns. Touch up quantity shall be supplied.

Bus BarBus bar material shall be aluminium of EC91 electrolytic grade as per Indian standard code.Aluminium material used for the bus bar “ Jindal” make only.

All bus bars, bus taps shall be insulated with close fitting sleeves of heat shrinkable type.

Buses shall be fully insulated for working voltage, spaced with adequate clearance of at least35 mm between phase to phase and 25 mm between phase to neutral.

Main Horizontal Bus bar :

The main bus bar should provide wholly end to end in addition with Bus coupler is to be laid150x12x3Runs for RYB and 150x12x2Runs for Neutral .the bus bar mount with finger typeCMC/SMC insulators. And covered with heat shrinkable red, yellow, blue, black sleeves foreasy identifying the phases and 12mm high-tension suitable heavy duty nut & bolts, springwashers are to be used for entire horizontal bus bar.

Vertical Bus bar: use bus bar size 100x10x2Runs for RYB and 100x10x1Run for neutral. thebus bar mount with “L” CMC/SMC insulators. And covered with heat shrinkable red, yellow,blue, black sleeve to easy identify the phase and entire horizontal bus bar should be use 12mmhigh-tension nut bolt with suitable heavy duty washer and spring washers.

EB & DG Incomer: 1.use bus bar size 100x10x4Runs for RYB and 100x12x2Run for neutralfrom ACB to Main Bus bar and ACB to Cable termination point. The bus bar shall be usesuitable support nearest at ACB and proper clearance shall be provide for CT coil insert andalso other relevant components.

2. Consider at ACB incoming bus bar extensions for EB & DG shall be suitable holes (14mm)and have a enough clearance for connecting not less than 10Nos of 400sqmm Single corearmoured Al cables for each phase.

3.The Extended the bus bars of the EB and DG out going for all three sections in the New PCCpanel bus bar size 100X10X2 runs for each phase for connecting to old existing PCC from NewPCC.

Bus coupler: use bus bar size 100x10x4Runs for RYB and 100x12x2Run for neutral from ACBto Main Bus bar and ACB to Main Bus bar. The bus bar shall be use suitable support nearest atACB and proper clearance shall be provide for CT coil insert and also other relevantcomponents.

1250A ACB : use bus bar size 75x12x2Runs for RYB and 75x12x2Run for neutral from ACB toMain Bus bar and ACB to Cable termination point. The bus bar shall be use suitable supportnearest at ACB and proper clearance shall be provide for CT coil insert and also other relevantcomponents. (the size of bus bar shall be support future upgrade the ACB up to 1600A)

630A MCCB : use bus bar size 40x10x2Runs for RYB and 40x10x2Run for neutral from ACBto Main Bus bar and ACB to Cable termination point. The bus bar shall be use suitable supportnearest at ACB and proper clearance shall be provide for CT coil insert and also other relevantcomponents .The extended bus bar shall be made enough clearance and current rating forcable termination of size of 240 sqmm 31/2 core for 3 runs for each MCCB.

1. ACBs.All the incoming & Bus coupler 3200A ACB , 4 pole, electrically draw out(EDO) typeACB with inbuilt LSIGN protection and LCD display microprocessor based trip Unit .

Reverse power relay and IDMT relay, SPP and Earth/ground fault relay shall be incorporatedfor additional protection for transformer and equipment.

Also required quantity of control MCBs, terminals Relay cards, Aux. contactors and LEDindications with MFM meter and control gears.

All the current transformers (CTs) shall be cast resin insulated type, with Secondarycurrent of all CTs shall be 1 A for protection and 5A for metering with short linkedterminals and 4sqmm Cu. Cable for CT wiring.

Outgoing ACBs protected with inbuilt LSIGN protection and LCD displaymicroprocessor based trip Unit, adjustable over load current and remainingstandard as above.

2. MCCBs.

630A, 4P, 65KA, 4P MCCB with inbuilt LS protection microprocessor based trip Unit withAdjustable Overload, Adj. Short circuit and Earth fault

The MCCB Shall be supplied as follow Specifications.a) Speeder link & extended rotary handle.b) Aux.NO+NC Switch & Trip Alarm Contact.c) Shunt trip Coil.

Also required quantity of control MCBs, terminals Relay cards, Aux. contactors and LEDindications with MFM meter and control gears.All the current transformers (CTs) shall be cast resin insulated type, with Secondary current ofall CTs shall be 5A for metering with short linked terminals and 2.5 sqmm Cu. Cable for CTwiring.

Earthing Connections.

The Entire panel shall be connected to a 60x10mm Aluminium earth bus bar runningthroughout the length Panel and 32x6mm Al Bus bar for All ACBs and all doors andmovable parts shall be connected to the earth bus with flexible copper connections.Provisions shall be made to connect the earthing bus bar to the plant earthing grids at twoends. All non-current carrying metallic parts of the mounted equipment shall be earthed.

PLC.

64Inputs and 32outputs PLC with CPU and suitable rating of SCADA system and allnecessary equipment,SMPS Relay cards, terminal, wiring and all accessories will be required as per system.
