Transformation of Human and Institutional Development Unit
1. A detailed meeting with Chief Executive, PPAF to obtain first hand
information about the mandate of PPAF and how HID in his vision cancontribute towards its achievement.
2. In view of the vision thus obtained develop strategic plan for the
transformation process. The basic theme would be to bring about change in
the mindset of HID, other core, and support units of PPAF, Partner
Organizations, and other stakeholders to maximize our outreach, in an
effective manner.
3. Outcomes of the strategic plan would be goals, objectives, targets,
organogram, strength of the team etc. These would be presented to the Chief
Executive for his review, discussion, modification if required, and approval.4. Implementation procedures would then be developed to actually implement
the strategy, and achieve the goals and targets.
5. Simultaneously an activity to engage the team for implementing the plan
would be initiated, with the help of GM HR.
6. Once the team is recruited and placed, the vision and the strategic plan would
be shared with them, and tasks assigned in the light of the implementation
procedures.
7. A conference and/or meetings with other core and support units, and all the
stake holders would be the next item on the agenda wherein their needs, and
inputs would be identified, and documented.
8. Linkages with international organizations like CGAP, Impact, ODI etc and
local institutions like PIM, PITAC, TUSDEC, SDCP, SMEDA, universities
etc would be developed to get their cooperation in developing courses,
curricula etc.
9. A program of Certified Trainer, Certified Training Institution, Certified
Consultant, and Certified Consulting Organization, would be initiated, and a
database would be established and put on the PPAF website, so that all can
benefit from it.
10. Training, and System Modules would be developed according to the needs
identified above, and hard copies, and CDs, DVDs, and videos would be
developed, so that Partner Organizations and their staff operating in remote
areas can also benefit.

11. A list of resource persons from the individuals certified would be developed.
The list will also contain the names of the resource persons working in other
units of PPAF.
12. A six monthly Training Calendar would be developed and mailed to all
Partner Organizations, and other organizations.
13. Deficiencies in the system of Partner Organizations, as highlighted by other
core units of PPAF during their visits would be addressed jointly and a
comprehensive consultative intervention would be designed to address
specific needs.
14. Case Studies, research papers, articles would be developed and shared with all
the stake holders.
15. Inputs in policy development pertaining to capacity building for poverty
alleviation would be provided at all forums.
16. At all times close coordination and cooperation with all the units of PPAF
would be maintained.
17. Advice would regularly be sought from Chief Strategy Officer, Chief
Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and departmental heads of all
units.
18. A friendly and cooperative atmosphere would be created at HID, to make the
experience of those using, sharing its services a very pleasant and long lasting
one.
