The Career Development Center will introduce you to the many services available through their office that will help you get started on your own career path to becoming another successful Bengal @ Work! 9:30 - 9:55 a.m. Life at Buff State Campbell Student Union, Social Hall Join representatives from the Student Leadership and Engagement office to learn about about ways to connect to campus clubs, organizations, activities, and events outside the classroom. Connecting to the campus community is important to a student's academic success and college enjoyment. We want to make sure you take advantage of the many academic, social, and cultural opportunities available at Buffalo State. 10:00 - 10:25 a.m. Safety Campbell Student Union, Social Hall Buffalo State's University Police department will discuss ways on how to stay safe on campus; how to be proactive in protecting yourself and your property, how to use the Safe Escort program, and how to remain informed. 10:30 - 10:55 a.m. Compact for a Civil and Caring Academic Community Campbell Student Union, Social Hall New students at Buffalo State are joining a community with traditions, customs, and values that have evolved since it's inception in 1871. Students will learn about Buffalo State's Compact for a Civil and Caring Academic Community -the promise the school makes to support student success and the expectations we have for students' conduct and commitment to their academic purpose. 11:00 - 11:25 a.m. Financing Your Education Campbell Student Union, Social Hall Representatives from the Financial Aid office and Student Accounts office will share important information on student financial aid and billing. 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. Lunch Campbell Student Union, Bengal Kitchen Take this opportunity to relax, grab a bite to eat, and meet other new Bengal Families!
