Congratulations on purchasing an Oz Trampolines Product.

Following are detailed setup instructions for your trampoline.

Please ensure all boxes and parts are present before continuing.

Setting Up Your Trampoline Frame

Firstly lay all the circular parts of the trampoline frame on the ground as shown.

Then proceed to screw each piece to-gether working in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.

Continue until you come to the last piece to be screwed together. When you come to the last piece to be screwed together, if it is not lining up correctly, simply lift this side of the frame up, and push the opposite side into the ground.

This will help line up the side you are trying to piece together and will then slot together.

You should now have a nicely completed circular frame, as shown here.

The number of pieces you should have:6 & 8FT = 6 pieces10, 12 & 14FT = 8 pieces16FT = 12 pieces

It is now time to start putting the legs together.

For each “U” shaped leg you should have 2 uprights. These are screwed together with the supplied screws.

Fig 3 shows the orientation of which ends join together.

As you complete the assembly of each leg lay them down on the ground near the trampo-line.

This makes it easy once completed to then attach the legs to the circular part of the frame.

Once at this stage you will be ready to attach the legs to the frame.

Note: 6 & 8FT = 3 legs10, 12 & 14FT = 4 legs16FT = 6 legs

Insert trampoline leg into the corresponding joints.

Ensure that you have the legs around the correct way, as pictured below.

You can see here the screw holes must be pointing towards the centre of the trampo-line.

When lined up screw in 1 of the supplied screws.

Tip: If the holes are not lining up tap with a rubber mallet or simply lift the frame and bang it down on the ground to force the leg upright further into the frame piece.

Continue now to the opposite leg and repeat the process.

This can be handy especially if your assem-bling the trampoline on your own.

You now have your trampoline frame assembled.

Well Done.

As you see pictured here the frame is not quite sitting together nicely.

We are going to fix that quite easily. What you need to do now is go around the cir-cular part of the frame and loosen these screws, so they are not tight.

Further on we will explain why.

Let’s go ahead and add our springs. You will see pictured here 1 end of the springs looks like a “ C “ ( to the left hand side of the picture ).

This is the end that hooks into your tram-poline frame.

Place all your springs in the slots on your trampoline frame.

It will end up looking like the pictures below.

Mat Assembly

Attach a spring onto your trampoline mat at both 12 oclock and 6 oclock, as pictured here.

Now attach a spring at both 3 and 9 oclock.

Attaching any trampoline mat in this fashion applies a nice even pressure on both the mat and also the frame.

IMPORTANT

It is an imperative part now in each section where the springs are not attached, to count both the number of springs and the number of triangles on the mat.

Page 6: Trampoline Installation Instructions...Trampoline Installation Instructions 1300 393 004 It is now time to start putting the legs together. For each “U” shaped leg you should have

To understand why, in this picture we had 16 unhooked springs, but only 15 vacant triangles on the mat.

So in this picture we needed to attach the spring to the right, onto the mat where the pictured spring is attached.

So now what we are left with is 15 un-hooked springs and 15 vacant triangles on the mat.

Now repeat this process in the other three quaters of the trampoline.

This will ensure when you start to attach the rest of your springs that it is the cor-rect number of corresponding triangle attachments on the jumping mat.

Now attach 1 spring at approximately 2 oclock, 8 oclock, 4 oclock and 10 oclock.

Just remember to count and check the number of springs versus the number of triangles left in each gap.

Continue around the trampoline working between each gap in a set of springs. As mentioned this applies an even pressure on the mat and also the frame.

Once you only have 2 maybe 3 springs to go in each gap, you may now simply work around the trampoline in a clockwise fashion adding each spring in succession.

Do not do this part to early or you will find it too hard to attach the springs as you make your way around the trampoline.

REMEMBER EARLIER ON WE MENTIONED TO LOOSEN THE SCREWS HOLDING THE CIRCULAR PART OF THE FRAME

TOGETHER - HERE IS WHY!You will see now the frame has joined together nice and tight.

This has happened from the the mat and springs applying tension to the whole frame.

If you left the screws done up nice and tight the frame would not be able to sit into itself.

As a side note, before tightening the circular frame screws check that all legs are sitting straight.

If they are not straight simply move them till they do line up straight and then tighten up the screws.

What you will now end up with is a well constructed frame and a nice taught trampoline mat.

NOW IT’S TIME TO CONTINUE

TRAMPOLINE PADS

Lay your trampoline pads around the edges of your trampoline.

Oz Trampolines Safety pads tie onto the trampoline frame with elastic ties.

Tie the pads around the frame as pictured here.

Continue around the trampoline in the one direction.

This will ensure that the pads sit evenly on your trampoline.

Proceed around the trampoline folding down the side flap of the trampoline pads.

You will now have a trampoline looking similar as pictured here.

Note: Colors and sizes obviously will differ.

SAFETY NET INSTALLATION

Lay the net down on the trampoline ready to start inserting the upright safety poles.

The first sleeve to start with would be the one with the zip opening.

Also line this up with the leg of the trampoline where you wish to have the opening in the safety net.

At this point join all your safety poles together, they come in 2 pieces.

A handy tip is join them together as in Fig 1, and then holding the top piece to gently bang it on the ground, this will then help them join as in Fig 2.

Once you have joined all your safety poles together lean them on the trampoline at the points where the uprights of the legs are.

As this is how the poles affix to the trampo-line.

Page 11: Trampoline Installation Instructions...Trampoline Installation Instructions 1300 393 004 It is now time to start putting the legs together. For each “U” shaped leg you should have

Start by sleeving one pole at a time into the sleeves of the safety net.

TIP: Hold the pole at the point where the pole and pole padding are. This stops the pole padding sliding down as you slide the pole into the net sleeve.

To streamline your installation lay 2 safety pole clamps at the base of each leg upright as shown here.

As you attach the clamps be sure to make sure they are in alignment.

Do not have them tightened to your tram-poline as pictured here and this will make the safety poles crooked.

The clamps should end up pointing out-wards from the legs and inline as shown here.

Continue around the trampoline one safety pole at a time.

Page 12: Trampoline Installation Instructions...Trampoline Installation Instructions 1300 393 004 It is now time to start putting the legs together. For each “U” shaped leg you should have

As you tighten each safety pole to the trampoline ensure the netting to the left and right hand side of you is sitting down past the edge of the frame.

Continue to work around the trampo-line one pole at a time in the same di-rection.

As you work your way around each section of the netting will start to take shape.

When you get to the point of having 3 poles left to go ( on a 16ft trampoline make it 4 ), you now need to sleeve each remaining pole into the sleeves.

Once you have placed each pole in the remaining sleeves simply let them sit there on there own.

Now continue clamping the poles to the uprights as you were before.

Page 13: Trampoline Installation Instructions...Trampoline Installation Instructions 1300 393 004 It is now time to start putting the legs together. For each “U” shaped leg you should have

As pictured here you can see we are up to the last safety pole.

The reason for putting the last 3 - 4 poles in their sleeves is when you get to the last pole, because the the whole circumference of the net has tightened up, trying to put a 2 metre pole into a sleeve which is only 1 metre off the ground would be very diffi-cult.

Once you have completed that part go around and attach the safety clips on the bottom edge of the net to the underside of the trampoline.

These affix onto the triangles of the trampoline mat as shown. Do this all the way around the trampoline.

At this point go around the trampoline and place the protective blue clips in the ends of the clamps.

So far so good.

You will have the main part of your trampoline setup now.

POCKET SURROUND AND WEATHER COVER

To start with the pocket surround, lay it on the ground on the section you wish the pockets to be.

A tip here is to start tieing it to the trampo-line on the next leg. In this case it will be the leg to the left in this picture.

It will become clear shortly why we do this.

Start by tieing to the upper most part of the pole first.

To make it easy to tie on, loop each strap behind the pole.

Then tie it in a shoelace knot or a bow.

Page 15: Trampoline Installation Instructions...Trampoline Installation Instructions 1300 393 004 It is now time to start putting the legs together. For each “U” shaped leg you should have

In this instance continue in a clockwise order tieing on each panel as you go.

Continue this all the way around the trampoline until you reach where you started from.

Why we started on the first panel to the left is as you can see it becomes easier at the end.

Starting from the top join each tie com-pleting the process of putting a pocket surround on your trampoline.

Now pop the kids toys or their shoes in the pockets and away you go.

Place your ladder on the trampoline and let the kids go wild.

Congratulations you have just installed your trampoline.

Trampoline Extras

Weather Cover

Layout your weather cover inside the trampoline. At different points around the weather cover there are elastic straps with hooks on them.

These affix underneath the trampoline.

Pull the elastic clip through and clip it onto a triangle on the jumping mat, as pictured here.

TIP: If you are unable to get your hand underneath the net edge simply undo one of the clips holding your trampoline safety net.

Then replace after fastening the weather cover.

There it is all protected from the weather.
