and distributors should have the adequate
training. There is an Order (PRE/2922/2005)
setting different levels of training for handling
PPP. This legislation has been implemented
by Regional Competent Authorities of the
Autonomous Regions

Qualified (72 h)
• Application responsibles
• Farmers in their own farm with assistants and not using toxic or very

Fumigator (50 h)
• With basic or qualified level, according to the previous approaches, and
using toxic or very toxic fumigants
Agro-forestry applicator pilot (90 h) • With title and license of airplane or helicopter commercial pilot
