Purpose

To improve the training of psychiatrists working in forensic mental health in Europe.

To increase the knowledge among psychiatrists of how mental health and the law operate in various European countries.

Background

Any psychiatrists can now work in any country within the EU

There is a need for transnational, professional cooperation and EU is, logically, the starting place
