Short introduction about puppets theater in Romania.

Of course, Romanian space is no exception, first playing dolls masks and magical ritual were found from very ancient times. Some of them are alive today but scarcely being aware of their role and pre-Christian meaning. By masks goat, deer, estates were put on stage the death and resurrection rituals, invoke powers of nature or illustrated travel beyond this world and also in the underground initiation of the soul. A form of puppetry is practiced in the eighteenth century was called "Nativity Drama" and was very long-lived. Puppet theater manifests intense circumstantial language . Increase the volume of active vocabulary , grammatical structures of language practice . Developing team spirit; Develop the spirit of observation; Development of critical and self-critical ,development of the moral traits: perseverance, diligence, honesty, justice. Contribute to deepening and expanding the connections between disciplines, contribute to the formation of a new attitude toward knowledge. Children get to know their life and the world in various aspects through knowledge transfer, developing sensibilities of children, develop flexibility of thought. Acquiring knowledge of wielding techniques of dolls.The most famous traditional puppet dramatizations and plays from Romanian culture are: Goat with three billy goat, Beer and fox, Grandmother girl and grandfather girl, Cock bag with two pennies.The most famous traditional puppet dramatizations and plays from European culture are: Pinocchio, Red riding Hood, Snow white, Three Little Pigs.

TRADITIONAL PUPPETS GAMES!Each interviewee answered a list of questions about games with puppets , about artisans who create these puppets and mascots, about the impact on children's mental development in puppets play, the determination of family relationships, creative workshops on puppet.The answers from those interviewed was important to synthesize some ideas about traditional games with dolls in our region:-puppet games were most popular in their childhood, regardless of gender or social status.-in our area stands a return to local traditions and a revival of traditional crafts including the production of traditional puppets games .-psychologically are very important game with puppets in mental development of pupils.-recommended the introduction of daily moments playing with puppets in activities at the school for the positive impact for children and teachers .

TRADITIONAL PUPPETS GAMES!- puppets help creating lasting ties between different generations, pupils-teachers, children-grandparents, children-parents, children-children.-puppets reveal the dynamics of family relationships but also the emotional components.-all participants support and participate directly in the development of creative workshops of traditional puppets and mascots.-these traditional puppets workshops is suggested to take place in non- formal spaces museum ,artisan house, out doors, NGOs.-some participants recommend organizing a summer school in which to organize interesting and creative activities with children and grandparents.With all answers and videos in this research we did an movie you can find on DVDs.

TRADITIONAL PUPPETS GAMES!Grandparents and pupils workshops!

In our institution traditional puppet workshops consisted of three steps:•Meeting of MIT team who presented the topic, discussed methods and about the material for these workshops.•Discussions with pupils from secondary schools, with parents and grandparents of pupils from primary cycle and nursery schools to establish data of workshops, the necessary materials and creative techniques.•Realizing puppets in numerous and creative workshops where we enjoyed this large contribution of grandparents and parents, methods, materials and ideas coming from them. All classes from our institution have developed creative workshops with parents and grandparents of students, most have been conducted outside the classroom schedule in a friendly atmosphere, sometimes accompanied by food prepared by grandmothers.

Most working materials, canvas white, colored canvas, cotton, colored thread, needles, beads ornaments were gifted by grandparents and parents to be used in the workshops.Many grandmothers present presented to pupils different techniques for sewing dolls, clothing embroidery, sewing beaded embellishment of these colorful puppets that resemble those of their childhood.All generations involved in these activities cooperating and communicated positively have maintained a friendly atmosphere, all enjoyed most of the initiative. Grandmothers of children remember their childhood with nostalgia when also organized weekly social meetings in order to manufacture different items of clothing, reciting stories ,manufacture different toys made of natural materials.

We set for March to realize another series of workshops with grandparents and on this occasion we will disseminate the meeting and activities in Bulgaria.After discussion with the project team we want to include in the educational process in the schools more collaborative moments with grandparents of students.Grandparents will be sources of information for local heritage culture and will transmit this knowledge to the younger generation.The children were very excited about these workshops photographed and filmed every step, they were very glad to shared this moment, own creations on different social networks.These moments are important for the formation and holistic development of our students and potential of traditions is no limit.

FamilyTo determine family relationships and ensure the sustainability of our work from workshops with parents and grandparents Romanian team have created for each country a didactic game with puppets.Families of puppets were created by various techniques some modern clothes and others were dressed in traditional costumes.Often, those who are challenged they can play very well, very much talking and arguing a situation, even before they were the opposite. This is a good thing because you get to discover interesting facts about the person and to know her better. Another utility role play emerges in situations where you think there is no solution to solve a problem.

TRADITIONAL PUPPETS GAMES!Role play and are advantageous because they can switch roles between participants often, they are free to say what they thought, while being in agreement with the roles they play. This stimulates cooperation, competition, interaction with others and, not least, empathy.Recorded be formulated as follows: "Role-playing: Family”.The role playing is a very good method of reviewing experience, and when used it in intercultural learning sessions its objectives should be: to analyze prejudices, to promote tolerance in the group and between different cultures, to analyze relationships of minority / majority.Positive reactions received from the categories involved in this complex activity cause us to say traditional games can still survive and become an important resource in our class work.This role play will be an important part of Societal Curriculum.
