All: Mysterious God of Infinite Love, we often wonder what we can contribute
to the realization of your reign on earth as in heaven. We seem the most
unlikely of candidates to offer any gifts to the fulfillment of your mission,
yet we are the ones you have chosen. We offer our gifts this morning, but
more than these, we offer ourselves. We pray this in the name of Jesus, your
son, who called us into discipleship. Amen.

*SENDING FORTH 5 July 8 Worship service – On Sunday, July 8, we will again be having ONE SERVICE at
10:00. Following the service, please join us in the Fellowship Hall for a Pot Luck Luncheon.
This time, we won’t ask what you are bringing, just surprise us! We are asking for a few people
to help set up the Fellowship Hall (we really do need some fellas for the table lifting) and some
people to stay after and clean up, too. Please let Denise know if you are coming and can help. If
you got the sign up genius sign up there, otherwise please let Denise know at
[email protected] or 410-676-5321. Thank you. There will be no Sunday School this
Sunday.
Food Pantry news - The food pantry served 79 families and 255 people during the month of
May. As always, thanks to everyone who supports this mission with their prayers, donations
and service. The most needed items are cereal, tuna, jelly, canned beans, and spaghetti
sauce and canned fruit. If you would like more information or would like to volunteer, please
call Christy Moore at 410-248-0841.
Sunday School News -Our children are our most valuable asset and seeing them grow is a
privilege. We will be combining classes again for the summer. If you are willing to cover a
week please sign up on the sheet on the door of Room 202, where the children will be
meeting. Thank-you, Rachael Desfosses.
What’s cooking at PHUMC? We are looking to print our own cookbook.
We are looking for recipes for:
-Appetizers -Main Dishes -Desserts -Vegan dishes -Soups -Side dishes -Family Favorites Please include the name and any tips that you would find helpful when preparing the dish. Please include your name. Please put the recipes in the box in the back of the church. Deadline is July 31, 2018. You can also email them to Jen Malatesta @ [email protected]
