Preparation 1. First we cut the meat into cubes and then we fry it in preheated oil.

2. Once the meat is fried, we take it out and put some finely chopped onion inside the saucepan.

3. When the onion is fried too we add garlic, flour, red pepper and tomato sauce. Then we pun in bay leaves, sugar, salt and pepper.

4. After becoming homogeneous mixture, we return the meat back inside the saucepan, pour some water and leave the saucepan on low heat for about 40 minutes.

5. We fry rice in butter then we pour water and boil it on low heat.

6. It is served in suitable plates. In the middle of each we put rice and pour it with kebap.

What is the amount for 10 portions ??

Imagine your friends came to visit you and you have to cook them something for dinner. The perfect thing is tas kebap it is prepared really quickly. You are ten people, so you will need :

-The main products: 1500g stew beef, 4-5 tea cups of rice, 6-7 onions, 5-6 cloves garlic, 6 soup spoons of flour, 600g tomato sauce and 4 soup spoons of butter;

-Spices: 2 soup spoons paprika, 5-6 pinches salt and 1 soup spoon of black pepper.

Now you have to cook it !!

Prices We have made a research and found out the average price of 10 portions of tas kebap and it is 52 leva or 26 euros. We also calculated the price for one portion and it is 2.6 euros.

Energetic value of the meal We used calorie calculator and we now know that one portion of tas kebap has 1100 kJ:

-it has 140g carbohydrates;

-it has 32g proteins;

-it has 44g fats.
