We are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join our business and lead PROPERCORN marketing plans in retail across the UK & Europe in our biggest year yet. THE BRAND PROPERCORN started 6 years ago at our founderskitchen tables, with big ambitions of creating everyone’s favourite snack. Cassandra’s father was a hopeless cook, but made the best popcorn and she used these precious memories to create a snack that is delicious and also guilt-free. Today, the business is a team of 35 creative, innovative young people with a unique culture. PROPERCORN believe in making everything the best it can possibly be and this begins with their team. Having already positioned themselves as the UK’s number one premium popcorn brand, selling more than 3.5 million packs per month the future plans for PROPERCORN are ambitious and exciting. THE ROLE You will be responsible for driving the Trade Marketing strategy for PROPERCORN’s UK & European business, shaping our activation plans across our key accounts and how our brand value and bold ambition is communicated to our retail partners. This role will sit within the Marketing team but have a strong relationship with sales. Building the strategy for retail activations and delivering the plans, from engaging the business internally through to eventual project management of all executions Writing and presenting all retailer sell-in tools, empowering our sales team to bring the brand, marketing and NPD to life in the best possible way Defining our approach to point of sale and in store activation, to stand-out in the big grocers and be highly visible across independent retailers and catering outlets nationwide Building strong relationships with retailer marketing contacts Designing and executing an international trade marketing strategy to grow the brand across Europe, working as first point of contact for our distributors’ marketing representatives Reporting on trade investment and results

REQUIREMENTS

You’ll have... •   Experience of trade marketing •   Experience working directly with retailers •   A track-record of excellence, both academically and professionally •   Strong analytical skills and mastery of Microsoft Excel •   An ability to build great relationships with internal and external stakeholders •   Evidence of an innovative approach!
