Sports Society

Sports Society is a proposed shopping and leisure centre with a focus on sportsretail, training and wellness. The mall will offer the largest selection of sporting,training and adventure activities under one roof, with an NHL official ice rink asthe centerpiece.

The site is conveniently located in Mirdif along Sheikh Mohammed Bin ZayedRoad and will offer 24,178m² of leasable space spread over three levels. SportsSociety will feature flagship sport stores, specialist sports equipment outlets aswell as the latest in sports fashion. The mall will also be home to a medicalcentre, clinic, rehab & physiotherapy centre, nursery & daycare, as well as a spaand beauty centre.

Primary Trade Area

▪ The primary trade area of the project development will include the residentialfamily households surrounding the project site within around 10-15minsdrive time.

▪ These include Al Muhaisnah 1, Al Mizhar 1, Al Mizhar 2, Oud al Muteena 1,Oud al Muteena 2, Oud al Muteena 3, Al Twar 3, Al Qusais 3, Al Muhaisnah 3,Mirdif, Al Khawaneej 1, Wadi Almardi, Al Warqa 1, Al Warqa 2, Al Warqa 3, AlWarqa 4, Nadd al Hamar and Al Rashidiyah.

▪ This catchment area comprised around 190,895 people in 2017, which isexpected to rise to over 221,000 by 2022 and over 244,000 by 2026.

▪ There are expected to be around 38,500 households in the primary tradearea by 2022. Projects such as Mirdiff Hills will serve to boost populationnumbers in the coming years.

▪ Around 54% of residents in the primary trade area, or 103,000 people, areEmirati, which compares to around 9% for the city as a whole.

Secondary Trade Area
