It has been designed to empower local domestic abuse services to collect robust evidence of impact as part of their everyday work. It includes a cloud-based database (OASIS On Track, provided by our partners IT Works), a full set of template case management forms and validated outcomes monitoring tools and the option for services to receive benchmarking data to compare their service regionally and nationally. On Track has been rigorously piloted across 12 sites, reviewed by survivors, users, academics and commissioners and was officially launched in April 2016. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.3.To provide support for On Track to ensure smooth running and maximum take up. To include keeping accurate records of interested services, answering queries and following up with those services who have expressed interest.

2.1.To support organisations to implement On Track, including providing them with information about the project, developing action plans in liaison with organisations and supporting organisations to draft process maps.

2.2.To liaise with IT Works about the progress of the organisations implementing On Track, specifically about key dates.

2.3.To map the reporting requirements of organisations against outcomes and outputs recorded in On Track.

2.4.To keep in regular communication with organisations as they implement On Track.

2.5.To monitor, evaluate and report on the impact of On Track.2.6.To deliver training and advice both onsite and remotely to new clients on OASIS

and the On Track programme, its forms and its processes.

3. General Responsibilities3.1.To maintain clear and adequate records of work done and to produce reports

on work programmes and activities as required by management.3.2.To contribute to team meetings (including On Track team meetings as well as

wider team meetings) and organisational priorities, and to participate in supervision and other line management meetings.

3.3.To take direction on projects and priorities from your line manager, which may vary from time to time.

3.4.To carry out word-processing, filing, and administrative tasks necessary to comply with the job description.

3.5.To assist in the delivery of conferences or events organised by Women’s Aid, if required.

3.6.To abide by organisational policies, codes of conduct and practice, and work within a framework of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice.

3.7.To be flexible within the broad remit of the post.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: On Track Training and Support Officer

EXPERIENCEEssential: Experience of a variety of computer packages including internal and external

email, Internet access and databases, with experience of Microsoft Office. Experience of liaising with external organisations and arranging external

meetings. Experience of using/managing online and/or electronic information and data

collection systems. Experience of collecting, managing and disseminating information for a variety

of audiences and to facilitate learning

Desirable: Experience of using impact and evaluation measurement tools and resources. Experience of delivering training. Experience of working in or with direct services to survivors of gender based

violence. Experience of data collection.

SKILLS AND ABILITIESEssential: Strong monitoring and evaluation skills. Excellent verbal communication skills, including a confident telephone manner,

and the ability to deal with a range of enquiries. Proficient in word-processing, spreadsheets, databases, data collection systems,

email and Website technology, preferably in a Windows based environment Ability to plan and deliver projects within a set timeframe and with clear

outputs/outcomes Organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to a high

standard of accuracy A non-judgmental approach to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and a

clear understanding of the gendered nature of violence against women and girls/

Ability to develop and nurture relationships with key contacts and organisations.

Desirable: Ability to provide training and support, ideally on the use of case management

systems A high standard of writing skills including producing training materials, reports

and briefing papers

KNOWLEDGE Essential: Knowledge and understanding of how organisations can collect, analyse and use

impact and outcomes data and the range of methods and tools that can be used.

Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation systems and tools and how to develop and integrate them into organisations

Understanding of and sensitivity to the issues relating to domestic violence, including the nature of domestic violence and its impact on women and children.

A basic understanding of the issue of domestic violence and the role of local and national Women’s Aid services; willingness to learn more.

Desirable: Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality issues in relation to databases

and case management systems.

OTHEREssential: Able to demonstrate a commitment and sensitivity of the aims and objectives of

Women’s Aid. Commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and equal opportunities. Willingness to travel regularly for meetings and work occasional weekends and

evenings as required.

SUMMARY OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Terms of appointment: Confirmation of appointment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of a probationary period. This will normally be of six months (less for short term contracts). During this time an employee will be expected to establish their suitability for the post. During the probationary period employment may be terminated in writing, giving one week's notice by either party (this may be waived by mutual agreement). Only any statutory dismissal procedure will apply during the probationary period. There is no probationary period for contracts of under 3 months.

Salary: £25,346 plus inner London Weighting of £3,332, pro rata (on an incremental scale guided by the NJC Local authority pay scale points 29-33) + benefits. Salary is paid in arrears through bank credit by the 25th of each month. Part time staff receive pro-rata payment based on hours worked.

Working hours: The standard working hours for this post are 22.2 hours per week, based in London; benefits include a generous bank holidays and annual leave package and contributory pension scheme.

Support and supervision: Women’s Aid has a commitment to providing regular supervision and support to staff with annual appraisals forming a key part of staff development. We have a training policy in place and encourage staff to take an active role in their career development plan. Pension: Women’s Aid is enrolled with the People’s Pension scheme. Women’s Aid normally contributes 7% of salary and the employee contributes 3% towards the group pension scheme. Eligible staff will be automatically enrolled on the scheme when they have successfully completed the 3 month interim probationary review. .

Annual Leave: Women’s Aid offers an annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year rising by one day per year until 30 days annual leave per year is reached. In addition, we offer 8 days public holidays plus 2 additional days in March and August. All leave entitlement is calculated pro-rata for part time employees.

Other leave: Employees have contractual rights to time off for reasons of sickness, maternity and other circumstances.

Period of notice: 1 month after your probationary period has been completed.

Union: You have a right to membership of a trade union. Women’s Aid recognises Unison.

Asylum and Immigration Act 1996: To comply with this Act, Women’s Aid will need to see the original of at least one document from a specified list, most commonly a British Passport.
