Activity Codes• Activity Codes – new functionality to allow additional sub-

categorizing of allocations– Tag hours by non-billable activity such as vacation, holidays, jury

duty, etc.– Tag hours by delay codes such as waiting for permits, material

deliveries, etc.

• Activity Codes are not required for all allocations

• Activity Codes setup by location within the Enterprise

Authorization Central• Override Visibility

– New icon to indicate adjustments to calculated hours

– Single click on icon at the highest level to expand all data below

– Click icon or name at individual level to see details

– View info from Labor Details screen including all IN/OUT activity

– View skill and schedule assignment history

Allocation Imports• New Import functionality for Hours and Allocations

– Force Allocation – if Track net hours are less than imported hours, Track net hours will be used and allocations adjusted accordingly

– Reject Allocation – if Track net hours are less than imported hours, reject all allocations

– Override – hours or extra charges overrides can be applied with the appropriate allocations

• Allows for capture of Offsite Hours, Extra Charges, and allocations• Add or override existing hours by specific type (ST/OT/DT)• Override of extra charges must comply with Agreement terms

Cost Object Levels 1-4 Field Expansion & Additional Data Elements

• Expansion of field length for Levels 1-4 Cost Object IDs (from 15 to 30 characters)

• Additional fields for specific ERP system data including:– Breakout of PO and Line Item number (useful for reporting)– Revised PO Limit– ERP vendor code– Requisitioner

• 5 Extra fields for each Cost Object for any miscellaneous data

Voided Timesheet Comments• New functionality option to require user to enter

comments when voiding a timesheet

• Comments may be up to 250 characters

• Comments stored in database and can be used for reporting

• Improves audit trail

• Can be turned off if no desire for comments

Additional Labor Rate Buckets• New functionality for three additional rate types in

addition to ST/OT/DT

• Rates 4, 5, & 6 are supported by additional Pay Types and Pay Formula Tokens

• Additional Pay Types are available for Labor Allocations

Home Screen Alert Messages• New functionality to alert Track User upon login

– Alerts for Administrators or Supervisors with override requests pending

– Alerts for allocations to authorize– Alerts for Timekeepers with unallocated hours to allocate– Alerts for Timekeepers with unaccepted allocations to accept– Alerts for Other Cost Assignments within 3 days of expiration

• Alerts are configured per Track User from the Personal Information screen– If user has access to multiple Area IDs or an Area ID Group, they

can select a primary Area ID for unauthorized alerts and/or override request alerts

Schedule & Skill Change Requests• New functionality for Timekeepers to request schedule

and/or skill changes – similar to override requests

• Useful for controlling schedule and skill changes when the desire is for a review and/or approval process prior to changes being made

• Schedule and Skill change request functionality managed by Track Security Profiles

Block Allocations for Resources Lacking Skills and Rates

• New functionality to prevent allocating resources with no skill assignments or expired rates

• A red error message is displayed when attempting to allocate and the allocation will not be allowed

• Functionality is configured within the Track Application Settings screen

Scheduled Reporting• New functionality to schedule reports for delivery by email

at a desired date and time

– Reports can be scheduled for Daily or Weekly delivery– Email addresses stored on Personal Information screen– User may select to enable email notifications on the Personal

Information screen

• Reports with large amounts of data can be scheduled to execute outside of peak hours

Quick Allocation Options• New functionality to allow for quickly allocating resources

in bulk – new screen in Track

– Quick Allocation – select entire company or specific group and enter cost objects once and then hours for each resource

– Quick Allocation by Resource – select specific resources from a list and then enter cost objects once and then hours

– Shortcut Keys – 18 Quick Allocation shortcut keys to speed the process

Web-Enabled Online Help• New functionality for online help for Track

• User can access help from within the application

• Maintains the consistency of the version information source

• User can search for keywords by using the Index or Search feature

• User can save Track help pages to their Internet Explorer Favorites directory for quick retrieval
